I just saw this wedding posted on the main boards and this photo was on the photographer's blog! I love it because I've thought about getting a tattoo on my left ring finger.

Who else would do this or would consider it?  Do you already have one?  Show it off!

Theirs looks so awesome. That being said, I have considered it, but decided that ultimately that's just not for me. We do however have matching tattoos, but no names will ever be on my body except maybe those of my children (if I ever have any).

i would consider it, my FI is getting a tattoo on his left ring finger bc he plans to not wear his wedding band a lot (hes "not a jewelry-wearing-kind-of-guy"... his words not mine...).  it was his idea and now we're just trying to come up with ideas, we're thinking of having me write a "B" like how i sign my name and then incorporate that into the tattoo... we'll see.  ill post pics after its done :-)

i know that alot of place wont do a band type tattoo on the finger because its hard an because it wears bad an usually isnt their best work so they dont do them because it would be bad advertising, however theirs looks really good, that must of hurt 

FI and I copied Beyonce and Jay-Z We di roman numerals instead of initials... Here's theirs  Heres Ours...

We plan on getting ours after our wedding. We have traditional rings as well, but we're both fairly covered with tattoos so it just kind of makes sense for us.

i love this idea... FI and i have never discussed it, but the more i see it the more i want to.

FI actually suggested doing something like this... he works outside and doesn't want to ruin his band.. so he said he was going to get my name.. I told him we're not doing names and that I would get something also for him. But NO names. I won't do names either, unless it's children.. even then I'd rather do something to represent them.

So now.. to figure out what to get??

FI works for the parsk and rec dept.  He wants to get lour wedding date in roman numerals on his ring finger. I would but work won't allow that, I will be getting out wedding date in the tattoo of the cross he is designing for me .
