Did you hear on the news about Andrew Speaker, the guy who has a rare form of TB who traveled on two transatlantic flights for his wedding and honeymoon, thus potentially exposing others on that plane? It sounds really ridiculous that he would put those people in harm just for his wedding, but because of this forum, I thought, "well, maybe the venue wouldn't give their money back, or they've done so much planning for a wedding in Europe that they didn't want anything to stop it." So I sort of understand his point of view, and it also may not be entirely his fault as the CDC knew of his condition and only advised him against traveling, but never actually barred him. Who knows? I'm sure more details will surface as time passes. But if I were a passenger on that plane, I'd sue him for my medical costs. Guess we'll just have to wait and see.
