Hello everyone!

I am recently engaged and really starting to look into venue locations.  My FH and I would really like a venue that is tented.  So many of the ballrooms that we've seen don't do it for us.  We're looking within a half hour of the Schaumburg/Arlington Heights area.

We've looked at the:

Schaumburg Marriott

Hyatt (the one by the Woodfield Mall)

and the Lincolnshire Marriott

We love the Lincolnshire, it's just a lot more expensive than the others.  Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Klein Creek Golf Club is gorgeous and I think between 30 - 45 minutes within your range.  They're in Winfield.

Oh I was going to suggest Lincolnshire! It's beautiful but yes, expensive.

We went to a ball this year that was in a tent at the Stonegate, which is a fairly new place in Hoffman Estates, so relatively close to the area you're looking at. The building has ballrooms, but then also has an attached tented ballroom. It was very pretty and right in front of the tented area was an outdoor bistro type area with some little tables and such...it was nice to get some air and still be right where the party was.
