The Beauty of Culture

When planning my daughter's recent wedding I tried to incorporate and combine the rich traditions from our Jewish Heritage and her fiance's Filipino culture. We have always found such beauty in Traditional Indian Weddings, Chinese Weddings, Persian Weddings, and Weddings of couples of African American Descent, just to name a few.  Do you have photos to share from your wedding that incorporate and reflected your background and traditions?  Please share!

I have an entry in my bio about traditions we included into our wedding. The ceremony was mostly american, but we included a few Russian elements into reception

just to explain my DH's facial expression :) whoever breaks bigger piece of the bread is going to be the leader in the family. I assume it is obvious he got a smaller piece :) I was so victorious waving my piece in the air for everyone to see! My mom is laughing at us

Oh man everyone please post more I love the ideas! Im marrying a Jewish Filipino (Father Jewish, mother from the Phillipines) and im a hapa Japanese Hawaiian (Japanese but family immigrated to Hawaii). I dont know much about Jewish weddings and hopefully by our date I will be converted. I want to tastefully incorporate all our cultures... oh the list is long!
