Thanks.  My father passed away when I was 13 and this was something that my mother wanted to do for both my sister and I.

Wedding: $25k for 130-180 guests. Technically it's a DW but only because we're having it in a place halfway between our two families. I didn't want to pay Long Island rates, nor did I think my family would schlep all the way up to New Hampshire and we decided to get married in the town we met which is convinently 3hrs from everyone!

Honeymoon: $3-4k Key West for a week. I actually wanted a legit DW wedding in Key West for 50 guests which would have run us about $8k but FI wanted all of his huge family there and I compromised. So we decided Key West as a honeymoon instead of a wedding.

Saving: I started saving money pretty much once I landed my job 3 years ago. I have enough to cover our honeymoon (and our move $2k) and I'm still constantly saving. We're doing a lot of installment plans (DJ, photographer, videographer, rings, dress, etc.) so it's easier along the way.

My parent's have $25k set aside for both our wedding and my sister's wedding which is 6 months later but I'm determined not to have them pay anything near that much. My mother split the cost of my dress with me (which was really nice since it's coming straight out of her paycheck) and I'm paying for the honeymoon, the rings, the invitations (I'm a designer so I'm making them all myself), and all the rest of the bridal/groom attire.

My FI just got laid off and didn't have much in savings before so it was always going to be me paying for this so I'm glad I did so much saving over the years.

Wedding: 10k MAX for <100 guest.  We are actually only paying 4000 (plus 3000 for HM) out of our pocket.  The rest is coming from Padrinos and Madrinas!  They are covering flowers, photography, DJ, guest favors (Coolhaus), invitations, cake, alcohol and other odds and ins.  We are covering the venue and food.

Honeymoon:  I have a timeshare and Fi and a bunch of Frequent flyer miles.  So our all inclusive hotel and airfare is covered.  We have about 3k for spending money.  We haven't pick our honeymoon location.  We are thinking about Greece!

Saving: We are savers, so all the money that we need is already saved.  We've been putting everything on our CC and paying it off each month...racking up points!  We are saving for a down payment on a house.

Wedding-$10,000-$15,000....this includes everything and I am hoping and praying we can stay on budget. Our parents are paying for it.

Honeymoon- My stepmother is paying for airfare and hotel so we have to come up with spending money...Now we just have to figure out where we want to go to see how that amount will be.

I would save we have been saving for at least a year and we are still saving now. I am happy with the process and excited to be married.

Congrats Ladies.
