Last night DH and I watched "The Great Sperm Race" on Discovery Channel. It was really interesting on how they explained the process the sperm goes through if it was "human life size." Extremely informative and speaks of ovulation as well.

It was funny DH goes, "No wonder we are not pregnant. My boys have to go through alot to get to your heaven. WOW." LOL

I watched it and found it kinda odd...lol I mean it was informative but still sort of weird. The leukocytes were freaky looking.

yeah, all the people in white running around was funny. Yes, I agree the leukocyctes were scary.

I liked how they explained it though. It's a different perspective on how it all happens. DH really enjoyed it and understood the process much better.

I enjoyed the part about getting to the fallopian tube, and I never knew that the uterus was such a dangerous place! I also liked how they showed that there can be a girl and boy swimmer at the end, I always thought that based on timing it will either be BOY swimmers or GIRL swimmers but not usually both. 

Yeah, same here. Also, I didn't know it took a special type of sperm to get into the fallopian tube.

I always heard that there are more boy swimmers, but they die faster because they are not as strong. Girl swimmers there are less of, but they are stronger.

we recorded this last nite...can't wait to watch!

Just watched....I'm amazed anybody can ever get preggo...

I cant get it to play online. It says not available in my area. :( Im so bummed. We were looking forward to watching it.
