Thank u sooo much for sharing this story. It really was an eye opener for me! Like most "girly-girls", I'm obsessed with mirrors but sometimes for the WRONG reasons. For instance, I can be VERY judgmental when it comes to my weight or occasionally obsess about getting older. So stories/articles like this one remind me to focus on the non-superficial things in life that really matter like my incredible friends and my supportive family.

I think she was great! I can't believe people were hating on her for doing something to feel better about herself!! Good for her not letting them get her off track!

I spent two years of my teenage life not looking in a mirror, but for the opposite reason. I just was convinced that i was the ug,iest girl ever and couldn't bare to look at myself. Thank God for getting me out of that place and giving me strength to love me fo who I am. I am proud to say today that when I look in the mirror I only see me, a beautiful, intelligent young woman who is alive and well and loved! There is no better feeling than that :)
