as we are gathering ideas... What details are standing out to you the most? What must you have (or DIY)? What is you least favorite trend? 

I must have uplighting and a martini luge. Least favorite is anything Tiffany Blue and brown.

I must have a buffet dessert table!! the more desserts to choose from the better. Least favorite trend or tradition for weddings-the veil, something blue-something borrowed-something new, garter toss and titles for your bridal party-maid of honor, matron of honor, bridesmaid, junior bridesmaid and etc. We decided to make everyone on my side a maid of honor and everyone on his a best man :0)

I am so with you on bridal party titles (and matching dresses...but I am by no means traditional)... I call them my partners in crime!! LOL

And I agree on the tiffany blue thing (even though I leaning towards blue)... but I feel that ever since Martha did this theme on the Today show, everyone is just trying to recreate... 

I'm kinda digging this signature drink thing.... its seems fun, great alternative for those that can not afford a full bar set up.. and fun, oh wait I said that!

Re: bridal party titles- I'm with msxtal and Jess on that one.  I have two girls that are very close to me, one of them has named herself my maid of honor before I got to even ask her and the other one is really good at party planning who I know also wouldn't mind being my maid of honor.  

I'm so over the whole B/W damask thing, I know it seems so fresh and new to everyone else who's NOT on PW, but to me, its been done way too many times on here!  I better be careful of what I say though before I find myself using it. LOL

I really like the idea of not "titling" my bridesmaids. I never thought of that! They are all very close friends/family and I do not like one more than another. I love them all so I may just call them all my bridesmaids or my maids of honor!

One of the other girls on PW (forgot who) was talking about instead of calling her maid of honor the traditional title, that she would name her "Executive Vice-President in charge of Bridal Affairs" and I thought that title would fit for my other MOH who is good at party planning.  It stuck on me!

lol 2011bride... I have a friend who has basically made herself the MOH.. I found out though other people too!!! "Did you make so-and-so your MOH?".. Um, what?? lol
