I went on a trip with my boyfriend a couple of weeks ago to New Orleans.  We had been planning it for a while and it was our very first trip together!  We went for the weekend and stayed in one of the most beautiful hotels right off of Bouron Street.  We went to just about everywhere and got to explore parts of the city that neither of us had really seen.  Since we both live in Louisiana we have been down there multiple times, but this was so special that we got to explore on our own time.

It was our anniversary our second day there and while getting ready in the morning to head out for some more exploring, my BF came up behind me in the bathroom while I was drying my hair and broke out the most beautiful ring I have ever seen in my entire life!  He did not propose to me, but he did tell me that he had every intention of doing so and wanted to tell me how much he loves and cares for me.  It was so cute because he was nervous just to give me a preasent.  He had gotten it for me as a pre-engagement-engagement ring.  He didn't want to say that it was a promise ring because it meant more than that.  I have never been so happy in my life to be with someone.  I have never had the feeling of any ex-boyfriend being "the one", but now I finally get that feeling.  I just had to share the ring with you all.  (It's one of those proud Momma moments where you just have to share with the world!)

It is a full carat and has both white and chapagne diamonds in it.  The center is the champagne diamonds.
