The Surprise

The surprise wasn't something he bought, but it was something I REALLY NEEDED.  I called him before I got home as he asked me to, so when I got to the door to put my key in, he opened the door and stuck his head out and told me to close my eyes and to trust him....so I did.  He grabbed my bag, he took my jacket off and lead me to our bedroom, it was really quiet (I'm thinking, where are the kids?), except for music playing, and the smell of strawberries (I knew instantly it was my favorite candles burning), he undressed me and led me to the bathroom, where he had me a steaming hot bubble bath waiting with candlelight, he had sent the kids (even the baby!!) to the neighbors house.  He sat there talking to me about us and how much he loved me and wished he could give me the world (awwwwwwwwwww) he left the bathroom, I must have laid in the bathtub forever, I think I even fell asleep, he came in the bathroom at some point and asked was I ready for the second surprise, (heck the first one was good for me), I told him yes, so, he dried me off (ohhhhh) and gave me a scented hot oil body massage, and during that I fell asleep again and I didn't wake up until just now!  I totally missed the sign the kids made that said "Mommy's Spa", lol

I had been working on two projects at work and working later than normal, so he knew I was stressed and tired. 

BUT THE BEST PART OF THE WHOLE THING WAS.....HE CLEANED THE BATHROOM!!! EVEN THE CAT LITTER BOX, WHICH HE ALWAYS REFUSES TO DO!!!! LOL

That is so sweet! I´m sitting here, stupidly smiling because of your story :)
