Hey ladies,
WOW. In just 2 short days, I will be marrying my best friend. I thought July would never come!!
I can't even begin to express to you all how wonderful finding this site has been for me. Though I have only been an active member for about 7 months, PW has become an essential part of my everyday routine. When I first got engaged last summer,
several people were skeptical due to my young age. This was frustrating and disappointing for me, and stumbling upon PW is probably the BEST thing that could have possibly happened to me at that moment.
You ladies have provided me with such support, positivity, and acceptance. I didn't really have close female friends at the time of joining this site - I completely adore being able to sign on and just get help with whatever I need. Thank you
dearly.
Also, my wedding would really be nonexistant if it wasn't for you. And I mean this quite literally! The plan initially was to have my aunt come over (justice of the peace) and have my immediate family (as witnesses) and just be "legally married"
for now - throw a big wedding some other time. I didn't want a wedding, I just wanted to be married. Through this site and my mother convincing me that we deserved to be celebrated just how we wanted to be, we have planned a day that will be no
less than perfect.
I am so, so grateful for all you have provided me - and I fully intend to stick around and help future brides-to-be after I am married.
But for now, as soon as I leave my computer today, my life is going to be completely hectic and full of wedding!! I have appointments today and a family dinner (OOTers), and tomorrow we set up and rehearse, and Saturday is the big day!!! The
weather forecast is perfect, and I know the wedding will be.
