why are parents like the hardest people to get through to??? or is that just my subborn-ass father???

dear dad: come to the weddding, dont come to the wedding, it'sw all up to you - but we're still getting married...

That's EXACTLY what I need to say to my mom!! make up your mind lady..I'm still inviting my dad..sheesh!

This leads me to one more thing I wish I could say:

Dear FMIL: please stop talking to your dog at the same time you're talking to me! i can't tell who you're talking to!

To some of the male family members in FI family:

It is not cool to have long hair if you are going to look like you have bird making a nest on the top of your head!!
No!!! I don't think your braids will look cool with a tuxedo!!!

FMIL: Stop spending your money and then coming to us to bail you out!!!

FMIL husband: Stop complaining and get a real job!! Working stock at the supermarket making $200 a week is not enough to support a family!!

FI Father: How dare you be so mean to your only son? You don't call him, you don't let him know that you moved in with your daughter and disconnected your phone, You don't even know your new grandsons name!! Your only son is getting married and you will not even make an effort to be there for him!! Nothing new! You've never been there for him anyway.

FSILS: Stop being such bi****!!!!!! Who cares what you think. We love each other and are getting married anyway!! Take that!!

Wow!! I didn't know I had so much pent up anger!! That felt really good!!

dear uncle's wife: please dont be tacky and wear ALL your jewelry at the same time... yes we know he's rich - hello he's in our fam - yes we know you have a new benz every year; yes we know life is so hard as a middle-aged womam in florida... sh!t stop talking about yourself for once and just enjoy the silence!

dear FI cousin's girlfriend: Okay we get it!! You have decided that you no longer like men but please stop calling her your husband!! If you wanted a husband that you should of stayed with a man!! Please stop trying to outdo my FI, you won't win. No matter how big a diamond you buy!!

dear daddy: stop talking! you drive me and everyone around you crazy and no one can ever tell you anything because you get pissed! the vendors dont like you and one already canceled on us because of they way you spoke to him.

dear mom: stop saying no! and stop saying this is going to be your way because you're paying. you're not the only one paying.

dear FI: please do something to help me! anything!!!

dear FIL: stop being so effing cheap!!! you have one son and he has one wedding!

Dear grandpa: thank you for my wedding dress. i will wear it proudly and remember you on my wedding day. i wish you could be with me in person, but being with me in memory is good enough. i love you.
