This Is What Marriage Means To Me

GermanBride2 This is why Mark and I are renewing our vows. We have built up torn down repaired and rebuilt.

I know some of you will be lucky enough to not experience real problems and I thank the Lord for those who are blessed, but for those of us who have not had it as easy and many battles in a marriage deciding to work through them and build up again stronger than before a vow renewal is a great way to begin again and celebrate that triumph.

Mark and I are enetering the next phase of our lives together and these vows actually mean more to me because we don't have to stay together for the children, or for financial reasons, but because we really do love each other that much. Sappy I know.

I love that. It reminds me of this sweet picture of my grandparents last year while he was in the nursing home with Alzheimers. They were married just shy of 67 years when he passed away in January. <3

Laura thanks for sharing this beautiful pic with us. 67 years is so unbelievable but I got tears in my eyes when I read the story. The pic is so full of love and happiness.
And yes Ido, the Vow renewal is the best way to show the love to your husband!!!

OMG Laura, I love this photo it reminds me of my parents. My mom had Alzheimers as well. My father wanted to go first because he could not bear to be without her. These are photos of real lasting love till death do them part.
