Do I need to abstain from sex before my test?  I will call my dr when the office opens, but I was wondering if someone who has done it could tell me.  My test is Friday and AF just left town so I was looking forward to some practice BDing with DH, but if I need to hold off, I don't want to goof the test.....

I won't be of any help, but I hope someone has an answer/experience to share!  We've all got needs ;-)

We didn't have to.  DH and I were each given an antibiotic to take incase we BDed.  I experienced side effects from the zithro so I didn't want to do anything anyway...DH was fine.  Good luck!!

Good luck, Claire!!  I also was not told to avoid BDing, though I didn't specifically ask either.  I also had a bad reaction to the antibiotics so I wasn't going near DH either :)

I got the call back a few hours ago, but haven't been able to be online.  My dr did say to abstain before the test.  My prescription is Augmentin (I don't do well with Zithro) and I start it tomorrow.

As it is, one of the puppies had a freak accident while wrestling with a littermate and fractured his tibia.  He was supposed to go home last Friday, but he'll be with me another 3 weeks.  I'm exhausted since I've had to continue with the crate training as well as keep him occupied so he stays off his bad leg for a bit......so honestly not sad that I'm allowed to just go to sleep, DH however, is severely disappointed LOL.  Only a few more days, I think he'll live ;)

Meh, gives your DH one more reason to look forward to the weekend!

Poor puppy! Sounds like he's well cared for though.
