I am not sure if I am the only here who feels this way.  But, I am tired of waiting and planning this wedding!  I want to be married already!

I told my fiance today let's go to the county registrar's office and get married.  You should have seen his face as he asked, "what about the wedding?".  I told him I still want my day, but I am tired of waiting to say "I do".  I am not a patient person and having to save money month to month so that we can have the money to throw this party is like torture!

I totally know what you're sayin..... and looking back now, I would probably seriously consider having a small intimate ceremony and a big reception later.  I can't help but feeling that some of the intimacy between my husband and I was lost in the big event.....  something to consider. Good luck.

i was just talking to coworkers today.  i'm soooooo ready to be done planning and preparing.  just get here already.  these last two months are moving so fast but oh so slow at the same time.  i told FI we should just go elope but he said that with all the planning that i've already put into it, we can't let my hard work go to waste.  ugh...i'm just ready.

I hear all of you.  But know I am thinking what really stops us from doing the small intimate?  Is it our egos?

no...it's the fact that despite being over it, i love planning it!  self-torture i know.  plus, being an only child, i know my mom has been waiting for this day since i was born!

Well, I didn't really feel this way until AFTER.... so I would urge you girls to consider it, especially if you are still in a position to change your plans.  I think it would be worth it.  And, I think doing this would have been much more special to my husband and I.   The biggest part of my planning was for the reception anyways, sooooo you can still plan something great.  OR you could even have two ceremonies, a small intimate one for you and your FI, and another one to please the family.
