okay ladies, so i've been keeping track of my period schedule using fertilityfriend.com. it's actually a sight aimed at those who are trying to get pregnant. i will be using it for the opposite reason hahaha. i'm not for the pill or nuvaring for me personally.

But ANYWAYS, based on what i've tracked so far it looks as though my period will probably be coming alittle before if not on the day of my wedding :/ which means it will continue through the honeymoon.

FI and I are saving ourselves for marriage so this really sucks! Is anyone else having the same issue? Any suggestions?

I understand your issue. I planned my wedding around my cycle as well and we're likewise saving ourselves. Short of changing your wedding date, I wouldn't worry too much about it, lol. It's possible from all the stress and hoopla that your cycle may be delayed. Even if it arrives on schedule, you'll just have to wait it out. It doesn't mean you can't enjoy yourself on your honeymoon just the same in other ways. Can you postpone your honeymoon at all?

Unfortunately no...however, I think we're starting to lean more toward birth control pills and will be able to avoid this issue. :)

Birth Control will delay your cycle.  Discuss it with your GYN.  Initially I planned my date around my cycle, but due to venue availability we had to change the date.  So I will have to take BC to avoid having my cycle for the wedding and honeymoon.

I will be during our honeymoon. I am on the pill and thought about taking the pills earlier to move it up, but decided not to mess with it...FI and I have talked about it and its not that big of a deal to us.

I planned around my cycle and went thru a lot of stress recently...as a result...my cycle has started around the 28th/29th for the last two months...I am getting married 10/29....  I can NOT take birth control.  It makes me bleed more.

I skipped a month of my BC so I could start at a different time (I take the 3 month pack) I say go with BC if you can
