To all the beautiful, blushing brides to be . . .
You deserve the wedding of your dreams replete with all the magical details that will make your wedding day your own! In the beginning of all of your wedding journeys, one of the first things you want to do is set
your budget. What I have been reading on the boards from many new faces is that it seems overwhelming and out of reach to have things that you want. My advice in this arena is to have what I call your SPLURGE and then
have your STEALS. What I mean by this is if there is something that you absolutely can not live without, whether that be a dream dress or a million flowers, then this is your SPLURGE. If it wouldn't bother you to do some
things yourself or do as I do, google your life away until you find something close to want you want, then this would be your STEAL.
For me, I knew right away that I was not going to spend a lot of money on my dress or flowers. I found my beautiful dress at David Bridal for $399 on sale and I got flowers from Kroger the morning of my wedding! (Now that's a steal!) I wanted
satin linen for my tables but didn't want to spend the money it cost to rent them, so I went on Ebay and found satin tablecloths for 150 guest for $199 with free shipping!!!!!! To make my day have what I like to call "Touches of Tressy", I
booked a guitarist to play at my ceremony, got a card box made and just had to have these fancy letters done in this specific script as my cake topper. All of these details were my splurges that I just couldn't do without!
There will be bumps along the way, days you will trip and may even fall a time or two during your wedding journey, but remember at the end of the day what matters the most is you marrying your soul mate! I wish each one of you much joy and
inspiration! HAPPY PLANNING!!!!
