To find old threads...

I think a search box for key words for past threads would be helpfull.. If I do not save to my saved threads I have to search for a long time to find an old post with useful information.

i ditto that. i was just trying to find an old thread and i gave up after like 10 pages...

what also might be helpful is to have the option to search over (1) forums, (2) vendor reviews, or a combo of the two, rather than have to sift through the combo if all you would like to search is one or the other.

Thanks for the suggestions - I definitely agree that search on this site needs to be improved particularly with all the content being added everyday.

As an interim solution, just some suggestions if you did not know about these already:

1) There's a Google search box at the bottom of the forums which you can use to search for old forum threads:

http://www.projectwedding.com/topic#topic_search

2) If there is an interesting thread that you want to bookmark, you can click "watch this thread" at the top of the thread and it will be saved into my saved threads which is linked to on the left hand side.

3) You can also try browsing through my posts which is also linked to on the left hand side.  This will pare down the list of possible topics to ones you've posted on.

Hopefully the above possibilities can help you in the short term, but we know this is a problem we need to fix long term.  We'll do our best to get it done!
