So, FI and I (& kids) moved to Canada in May - I grew up here and it has always been 'home'.
Our best friends were so supportive of us leaving and we even managed to arrange to be Skyped into their wedding in August because we couldn't afford to go back. They are coming to visit us with their 2 girls in 4 weeks (& counting!). Anyway, she has always said that she doesn't want her kids growing up in England and so this trip is kind of to see if they like it here and would consider living here too.
I have just had a FB message from her to say that her hubby has had a Skype interview with a company over here and they have arranged to meet up during their vacation to discuss getting a work visa so they can all move!!
I am so head-explodingly excited!!!!!!!!
Sorry, I had no-one else to tell - FI is in meetings all day!!
