I don't know if I will or not. My photog does do them and she's actually be a part of planning and putting off a lot of the TTD sessions in SoCal.

If anyone is interested and they don't want to ruin their dress, I have a size 12 Paloma Blanco for sale (DIRT CHEAP!) that I have no use for.

Did you see Cin803's TTD photos? They're amazing! It's the first time I've seen TTD and thought, "Hmmmm...." - but I don't think I'm going to do it. Still, it's really cool! http://www.projectwedding.com/biography/list/cin803?biography_page_id=4284

I did a trash the dress while in Puerto Rico on our honeymoon. It was one of the highlights of the entire trip!!! I say go for it. I purposely trashed the dress totally, but it was a "spare". Lol. But if I didn't have that intention, it would have been in perfect condition afterwards. Here is a sample of my pictures Photobucket

I also say go for it if you're willing. It is another excuse to get all dolled up in your wedding gown and take some beautiful photos without the same stress and worry that you had on your wedding day. Since you're thinking about doing them for an anniversary gift, you could do a few sexy poses just for him. ;-)

I did a TTD session with a $99 gown from David's Bridal. (My gown was a little too plain for the kind of photos we were planning to do.) It was for my photographer friend who wanted to have a TTD session for her portfolio. It was so much fun! PIB.

Well girls, I am seriously thinking about doing a trash the dress session. Like Lori said, a little sand and sea water won't hurt. It's another excuse to wear the dress one more time and it would make great wedding anniversary pictures. Since I wore my hair up for our wedding, I would probably wear it down without the veil and maybe with a flower on one side, especially because my husband really likes it when I wear my curly hair down.

Ana...that's what I did. Hair down and loose with some flowers tucked over my ear...way more laid back and relaxed than our wedding day (which, frankly, was still pretty laid back...especially for us!)

Cannot wait to see the results! Have a blast...

I'm going to turn around and sell my dress on ebay and use the extra cash to pay off all the wedding debt I've incurred with all these "must-have" items I've been buying.

Oh you should do your TTD session - Ana. I did my TTD session a month ago and it was awesome. I didn't trash my actual wedding dress. I bought a cheap dress for the TTD session because I'm using the TTD session pictures for a wedding gift for my FI. I have a few photos on my profile.

cin803, I really like your TTD photos. I am also thinking about getting another dress for the TTD photos but, then again I'm debating on using my wedding dress because I like the idea of preserving my wedding dress in pictures. Where did Kali take you for your photos? I like the one that looks like your walking on water.
