Ok, I may be way behind the game here... But, Twilight?  Seriously?

I just saw it yesterday and I'm sooo disappointed!!  Overall I would give it a "C", but...  The acting??  The characters??  I felt like Edward and Bella were sooo distant throughout the whole movie...  Sigh...

Now I'm iffy on seeing "New Moon"...

i have to agree with you.... most of my girl friends are rather obsessed with twilight, but it doesn't really do anything for me. granted, i haven't read the books, but i'm not sure if it would really make a difference if i did.

The movie is pretty laughable. I agree the acting and the dialogue is terrible. When Joe and I saw it in theaters, we were suppressing laughter the entire time.

The books are much better than the movie.

I'm sure most of you know that I love Twilight.  HOWEVER, the movie was a HUGE disappointment!  My imagination runs wild, so i didn't expect the directors vision and mine to match, but WOW!  He was Way off!  I've said this a million times, but Edward is supposed to Sparkle like a diamond not cheap shimmer.  Plus, the acting was really lame...that's my twilight rant for the day!  **i hope they get their acts together for new moon.

I love the books!!! The movie though was terrible!! Kristen Stewart should get the worst acting award, like seriously. When she was bitten, she sounded more like she was having an orgasm rather than hurting/dying. I also hate Robert Pattinsons voice/face. LOL I think they totally could have picked better actors for the leading roles!!!!

And Alice... Reading the book, I totally imagined her like Abby on NCIS.  Perky and giddy all the time.  I didn't really "get that" from her in the movie..

oh gosh...I'm kinda glad I didn't read the book now or I would've hated the movie!  I thought they had such great chemistry.  I'm really gonna have to read the book.

I know books are usually always better than the movies but I think they could have gotten a little closer to the book....

I hear Eclispe is coming out in June...anybody else hear that?

Dreaminbride: Read them! if you thought the movie was half bad then you will be blown away by the book.  She's not "the best" writer, but she can tell a good story.

Ashley and Misshammy: It was just wrong.  All wrong.  I say cut them all, except taylor :). Or let people with really good imaginations write the flippin script and direct the movie.
