I'm trying to figure out what to wear under my dress... i bought a corset boob lifter (I really don't know the technical term), and it makes me look skinny, but it's soooo uncomfortable (and that's really important to me, especially b/c my dress is soooo light and comfortable).  i got a KILLER deal b/c the shop was going otu of business.

I m trying to photo 75490-1  (not exactly it but very close)

My FI will like it, but i was thinking more along the lines of something that lifts the girls and sucks in the fat that is more moveable... like spanx:

Thoughts, plans?

I tried the Spanx once, and I couldn't wear it. I bought the one you have pictured and it kept rolling down at the top. So I ended up giving it to my sister. They make little clippy things that attach it to your bra, but the dress I was wearing was a thin cotton jersey, so the clips would have show. I've worn a long line strapless bra before and, I agree, it was uncomfortable. But I also had a really cheap one. Perhaps try a few more on, maybe trying out different sizes to find one that is more comfortable. Fredericks has a few.

For my wedding, the seams of my dress kept the girls in place with the help of a little double-sided tape. I had to go commando though. The dress showed every kind of panty line imaginable. I did get a little tired of sucking my stomach in towards the end of the night. DH kinda liked knowing that I had nothing on under my gown. ;-)

If you can go without the undergarments, I'd say go for it. Keep that light and comfortable feeling. ;-)

Im just wearing a pair of undies, no bra. I just bought three pairs of undies from VS (3 for $25) because Im not sure which pair will be best with my dress, mine is very light too, and Im not sure if the lace will be apparent through the dress.  Im hoping to wear these, in ivory with light blue bows:

I also bought these in white:

And if neither work, I bought these...not very sexy, ha ha, but they're a last resort! "No Show" in beige:

This is crazy, but I'm wearing Spanx, putting the long line bra/corset over it so it won't roll and wearing a slip!  I've tried it and it's not super uncomfortable, just a little warm. =/
