I am 18 weeks today! Almost halfway :) not to much to report. I have been feeling pretty good, cant complain at all.  We got alexis in her big girl bed, and Hunter's room cleaned out (it became the overflow/ craft room) and the crib and changing table moved over to his room.  I have also been sorting through all of alexis' old clothes, picking out the gender neutral ones, clothes I want to keep and then getting rid of the rest.  Oh, and I've been feeling Hunter for a week or 2 now, lately its been getting a lot stronger :) loveee baby kicks <3

My next appt is the 17th and then I have my next sonogram is the 29th! Cant wait to hear how everyone else is doing :)

Heyyyy, congrats on your 18 weeks! Almost half of the journey is through! Glad to hear that you're feeling good. Sound like you got a lot done, which is great!

I'm almost 9 weeks and I'm terribly bloated since two weeks or so and it doesn't get better, ugh... :-( apart from that, I'm still doing a lot better than a few weeks ago, I'm less tired, what is good, because our first one (he's 16 months) is very demanding at the moment. I have my first appt on the 5th of feb and I can't wait for it, I'm so excited!

I'm currently 24wks, have my last 4 week appointment on Feb. 6th and then I start going every 2 weeks!  Yikes!  I have my gestational diabetes test coming up the beginning of February along with needing my other Rhogam shot, fun fun.  We've been so busy with the holidays that our nursery isnt even close to getting put together but we're starting on it now.  We've been feeling Baby L move around for awhile but they are getting to be stronger kicks.  DH felt his first "serious" (as he called it) kick last night and he was pretty excited.  My mom is currently planning my baby shower for February 16th.

I've been feeling pretty good for the most part.  Lately it's been a lot of stomach muscle pain.  I bought one of those bands that are for back support but kind of pick your stomach up a little and now wear that when I get ready in the morning before work and I usually have to put it back on when I get home.  I'm "lucky" in that I sit at a desk all day so my stomach doesn't really "hang free" haha during the day.

I turned 16 weeks yesterday, and we got to find out that we're on team blue on Friday! Yay! So of course we had a mini shopping spree for baby boy right after :)

I also bought my first maternity outfit this weekend. Just some pants and a cute shirt. I went in there cause I needed some new bras (I'm popping out of my old ones! lol) so I bought a bunch of maternity/nursing bras.

I've been feeling pretty good for the most part. Just going through the normal aches and pains and still have low energy but other than that, me and baby are both doing well :)

Sounds like everyone is doing well so far!  So jealous of you ladies that are feeling the babies kicks now :)  I can't wait for that part!

I am a mere 5w3d but am already hitting information overload.  I ordered a highly recommended book on multiple pregnancy and it's a bit overwhelming.  It says I should eat 3000-3500 calories a DAY, with at least 130g of protein.  AND that since I have not given birth before that I should try to gain 5-7 lbs as fast as I can.  Ugh - I feel like I am eating all the time!  I am doing the best I can, but I feel nauseous a good part of the day, even with all the eating.  Apparently with twins, you need to start the stretching process to make sure they have room to grow and keep protein high so the placenta(s) stay healthy.  They suggest about 25 lbs by 20 weeks, on top of the extra 5-7 lbs at te beginning.  It is certainly going to be a struggle, but studies have shown it is essential if I am going to carry the babies to term and minimize the risk of NICU time.  At least all this reading and eating and researching is keeping my mind off the next u/s.  Hoping to heart two strong little heartbeats next week Thursday!  Until then, I'll be in the kitchen :)

HI Ladies! Sounds like you're all doing well :) I'm jealous of the baby kicks too. Can't wait for those!

I'm 9w4d and feeling good overall. I'm hungry every 2-3 hours so I feel like I'm always eating. At least I'm doing my best to keep them healthy small meals. My bewbz are still sore, and I'm bloated 24/7. I toss/turn in the early mornings and have a spurt of energy in the evenings. I also noticed I have the pregnancy nasal congestion so I always sounds like I'm stuffed up. lol DH can hardly contain his excitment and can not wait for us to make our announcement public after 12 weeks. :)

Hi everyone!

It is so nice to see everyone's updates! Fun stuff to look forward to with the ladies who are further ahead in their journeys and big hugs for everyone who is just getting started (or well into the throes of that wicked first trimester) :-)

I am 14 weeks right now and am feeling better than I have in weeks. The fatigue is so much better, and the nausea/appetite have been much easier, as well. I can't tell if I'm officially showing since it seems so early, but there is definitely a noticeable difference in my belly! Right now it feels like these next few weeks will be a bit of a waiting game. Waiting to show, waiting to feel baby kicks, waiting to know what we are having, waiting to really start shopping! Our doctor has a hard and fast 20-week rule for gender u/s, so we have a ways to go before then. Our genetic testing will also be done at that time. So, until then...I'm just keeping busy! I'm slowly getting back into a workout routine and I'm trying to take advantage of this brief period of energy to finish up some projects around our house. Who knows how long it will last! Lol

Hope you're all having a great week!

P.S. Laurie - Have to say I'm a tiny bit jealous of your calorie intake. Wish I could do it for you!! J/K :-D

I'm just a cute little 5wk, 2days :) I am not feeling too much different yet. However, yesterday was the first feelings of being nauseous & tired. Luckily it went away after I went outside & got some fresh San Diego air... But then came back when I ate a little too much at dinner time... Other than being bloated from morning till night, a little spacey & sore bewbs, I haven't felt too much different though. I dont think I will be saying such things in the near future however... I am soaking up all the 'normal-ness' right now, before things REALLY start to change.

And Laurie! OMG - you are really having twins arent you?! What a blessing those babies are already!

Hi ladies!!!
So wonderful to hear from everyone :) Huge congratulations to everyone with the new BFP and especially to Murph on her twins :-D

My sweet boy is already seven weeks old. I am so shocked about just how fast time went :( I just had him yesterday, didn't I?
Leo has grown sooo much and is such a tall boy. I look at him and camnot believe he came out of the little ole me. He is almost 11 pounds and 23 inches long :) He is also starting to coo at DH and I :) It is probably the cutest sound in the whole world, I swear. We often have long conversations and he absolutely loves being talked and sang to. Daddy bought him all the Dr. Seuss books that they read before bed every night.
Leo still sleeps through most of the night and only wakes up twice to eat, so luckly, we still have not expetienced any sleepless nights or exhaustion. I just cannot believe what a calm baby he is :) I now feel like I could do it again, and again haha ;) And actually.... I already miss being pregnant. Man have I come a long way from being miserable when I found out I was pregnant, to wanting ten little boys lol.... Ok not ten, but maybe two?

Enjoy it because it is over way too fast.
I will post pictures later today :)
