1st IUI was a bust. :(  I wasn't surprised though and tested the night before my bw at RE's office.  A few days before IUI my lining was 6.6 and was immediately prescribed estrace but I don't think it worked in time so this cycle my Dr. is going to have me do another round of clomid and start the estrace sooner so my lining can thicken.  On on CD1 right now and will go in on Easter for ultrasound.

Quick update for me, just got a + Opk today so DH and I will be going to my RE's office tomorrow morning for our first IUI. I'm so excited and nervous at the same time, wish us luck!

Oct: sorry to hear!  I was really pulling for you!  Hopefully they have figured out things though, made adjustments, and the next one will work.

AFM:  I am still in the 2ww, but am thinking it's a bust again this month.  My temps have been all over the place and at 11 dpo, got BFN on FRER so I am mentally gearing up for next month.  Was really thinking this would be our month, coming off the good news DH got and we had the timing right.  Based on my cycle, I would have been due 12/24. So if it stays BFN, I am out for 2012 :(  I have appt with OB/GYN end of May if I am not pregnant before then.  They said they could probably at least get bloodwork done on me to see if I have hormonal issues so we can get the ball rolling there.  It's really hard to ot be frustrated with DH for making me keep this lousy insurance after pleading with him to pay the extra to put me on his. We could be doing IUI by now.

Dana-  How did your IUI go this morning?

AFM I'm currently taking 100mg of clomid for 7 days and will go back in for an US on Monday.

I've been to the RE every morning this week.  On Monday, cd11, my dominant folly was 17.5 and my lining was a whopping 2mm!  I was so disappointed and my Dr. said it was one of the thinnest he's seen.  I immediately started the estrace that day, twice a day and went back in on Tuesday, CD12.  My lining was only 4mm still very thin.   My Dr. told me I was ready to trigger but wanted to wait to see if my lining increased and hopefully I wouldn't have my LH surge but the BW would tell.  On Wednesday, CD13, my lining was 4.8...and I was super discouraged and Dr. said to come back again tomorrow.  Today, CD14, my lining is 9mm!  Holy moly I can't believe it!  My Dr. high fived me and is very optimistic!  The largest folly is 28mm and I have 3 on the left and 1 on the right.  I'm going to trigger tonight and IUI#2 is on Saturday!

Oct: So glad your lining thickened up. Crazy that it can happen that fast! How did IUI #2 go?

T: I am soo very sorry sweetie. I know there is nothing that can be said to ease your pain. I am so glad you are seeking help to get through this hard time. ((Hugs)) The world can be so cruel sometimes. As if it is not hard enough that we need to go through all of this month after month, to finally think you have this little miracle just to have it taken away is......there are not words. I have seen some info about the Resolve meetings, how are they? I don't think any of them are near me so I would have to travel to them which is probably not a possibilty. :(

AFM: I am 10dpo today. IUI #1 went well. DH had 54mill post wash and 80% motility. I got a + OPK on 4/17 and went in for the IUI 4/18. But, I was really concerned that the + OPK was on a digital but the actual test itself didn't look +, I just got the smiley, followed by all - tests. Dr told me since I had been having EWCM and got the smiley I should just assume it was actually  a positive and do the IUI. Reluctantly, I did. I tested again the next day 4/19 and got a definate + OPK. So, the one I had on 4/17 was a false + and we did the IUI 1/2 days to early. :( I was told we still have a chance and we also DTD but not holding out much hope for this month. I hope the next week goes fast so I can start a new month.

Tov-  I'm so very sorry.  I can't even imagine what that must be like and I'm glad you have lots of support.  You are in my thoughts.

Dana-  Sorry your timing was off a little but still think you have a great chance.  Even 1/2 days still early they will be hanging around waiting for you to O. Best of luck!

AFM- At my FC you never know who you are going to see.  There are two Doctors and a PA and the US are done by all three just depends on who is there.  Well, when I had my HSG it was in the adjoining hospital's radiology dept and a completely different Dr. did it who I later found out is affiliated with my FC but a different location.  My HSG was painful but not because of the dye.  He was just very rough and I was so glad it was over. 

So on Saturday, they are taking me back to the room and I see the HSG dr. in the hallway and think oh great!  Well, he was very rough yet again and I looked up his ratings online and there were similar stories.  I was sore for 2 days. :/  However, if this round is successful I will be his biggest fan.  It just makes me anxious to see him in the future. 

DH had 33mil post and 78% mot.  I currently still taking the estrace and started prometrium on sunday.

Hi ladies, I haven’t been here for awhile but I thought I’d pop in and reintroduce myself.  My name is Jean and I have been TTCing for about a year and a half now.  I’ve been lurking on the other baby boards but it just got overwhelming that I needed to come back to PW.  Plus, with wandering eyes at work, it’s easier to get caught on a wedding website than a baby website : )

@Tov - I’m so sorry about your loss. 

@Dana – You probably still have a chance.  Did your RE monitor you before the IUI?  Usually, they take BW and US every few days before IUI to see the growth of the follicles and lining and to determine when the trigger shot should be taken.

Hi ladies-  Well, IUI#2 didn't work.  About a week after I had to start taking antibiotics and prednisone for a pretty bad infection so I wasn't surprised and somewhat relieved because I hated taking those meds thinking I could possibly be doing harm.  I unfortunately had no choice though and am feeling 100% better than I've felt in a loooong time.  My Dr. thinks it's my lining that is causing the problem and says it's up to me whether to do my 3rd iui with clomid or move on to injectibles.  We are taking this month off though since we are going away next week plus I think I need a break.  I'm using my CBEFM this month though and keeping everything crossed that it could happen naturally.
