US Honeymoon

The one topic my fi is excited about picking is the honeymoon. He really wants it to me in the states since it is a lot easier (money/travel wise). Any ideas of great spots for an american honeymoon? (We have Hawaii already in mind)

There are a lot of great spots! Where do you live now, and how much do you want to spend? Also, how long would you like your HM to be? And what kinds of things would you like to do?

We enjoyed our trip to Hot Springs, Arkansas.

Have you ever been to Mackinac Island, MI?  There are no cars allowed on the island so you can walk, rollerskate/skateboard, rent a bike, scooter, or horse.  You travel to the island on a ferry that gives you beautiful views.  The island is only 9 miles around and there are no tv's in most of the hotel rooms.  You can easily take the ferry to Mackinaw City, MI or to St. Ignace, Canada.  It's one of my favorite places to visit.

Charleston, SC! They have beaches, historic downtown with restaurants, bars, clubs, carriage rides. Boats, Fort Sumter, Plantations. FI and I went there for a week; it was so romantic and we had such a wonderful time! 

Socal or you could do the Montery/Carmel area. FL or a cape cod type thing
