I keep going back and forth regarding a veil - love the photos of brides wearing Veils on the beach but....

1.  I'm worried it will be wrapped around my neck while I walk down the beach -lol

2. price - My bridal salon has a veil that goes with my dress perfect but it's $250, found some sites on line that have veils for very very cheap - but worried they will look CHEAP.

* And If I do a veil, can I still wear a flower in my hair - Any suggestions ?

Check out my pics. I had a chapel-length veil on the beach, on a windy day, WITH a hair flower. It worked out fine. I did hold it at my side while walking down to the beach from the house, but once i got on the beach, it didn't blow around too badly at all. Also, I got my veil made for $20 by the seamstress who did my alterations, and it was perfect. Ask your seamstress. If you don't have to have embellishments on the veil, I'm sure you can get it made (or diy) pretty inexpensively.

Thanks for the advice. I didn't even realize your veil was underneath the flower. I was thinking it would need to go above it.

Funny you should say that... my veil told flew up and wrap around my face as I was walking down the aisle I pulled it off and laughed and it didn't happen again but it can happen.

So I tried on my dress again last night - 2nd fitting. The girl at the salon is so wonderful. I was saying how I may try to make a veil - she is one of the managers and does the alterations too. She said it was super easy and said I should check out Hobby lobby b/c they have veils there for like $20 - so going to do that instead of spending $250 YIKES.

Gatorbride - I tried the veil on underneath with the flower on top - everyone loved it... thanks for the tip. Things are coming together!

Check ebay for veils. I was able to get one on there for $20 and was very happy with the quality. Just do a little research and check the seller's feedback from other buyers.
