vent

Fi got a job call back on monday. He was suppose to have jury duty on tuesday(also his b-day) , but they called and put him on phone standby. So he had to cancel the interview he had today. I hope he doesn't get placed. I really want him to go to that interview tomorrow.

My fingers are crossed for him.... and toes.

someone i worked with (in CA) said her husband got called for jury duty, and he never went....so they just keep sending him letters to come again....here in TX, my FI got summoned for JD, he forgot to call in that day, so they just sent him a letter to come a different time....soooooooo....take that into consideration... :)

awww damn lol. He's at the court house right now...not bad I didn't vent yesterday =(

The guy wwas totally understanding htough. He told FI to call him and let him know what was going on when he got out.

darn it!  at least the potential employer is flexible...hope he gets it!

sometimes you get a cool judge. if your fiance were to tell them that he has been on the job hunt and has a great interview tomorrow, they might dismiss him. or they asked him "is there anything that would prevent you from fully focusing on this case?" he could say, well to be honest i'm very nervous right now because i have a big job interview tomorrow and i'd be extremely upset if i didnt get to go...

the lawyers and prosecuters and judge may say "ok we don't want you on the jury..dismissed!"

or if he said something outrageous like "i hate cops because they falsely arrested me or i hate guns and anyone who owns one should go to jail" he'd get kicked off in no time!

I hope you guys get it figured out!
