I ran out of the satin ribbon that I used to make the first pomander. I initially thought that I had bought enough to make two - but alas I hadn't. The first set of supplies that I purchased were from AC Moore in Savannah.
Tonight DH and I went to Hobby Lobby where I purchased six rolls of red "satin" ribbon for 50% off. The ribbon isn't nearly as nice as that from ACM - in fact it's terrible. It doesn't feel like satin or fabric at all!
I just did a test run on a small section of the second foam ball and there is NO way that it will work next to the other one.
I will be taking back the unused rolls of ribbon and heading into Savannah at some point to hopefully buy more of the good ribbon.
Poo!! :( I was hoping to knock out both of these projects this weekend.
