I'm just about to leave for our wedding with the flowers and they are TERRIBLE. Believe me, there will be a review when I get back but I had to post something because I'm soooo angry. I got the flowers this morning - 1/3 of them were great, the rest were:

Instead of cream - green (bright bright green...)

Instead of cream - yellow (bright yellow...)

SO I thought, okay no problem, I'll just telephone and get replacements. Nope, after being put on hold, told they'll call back, taking photos and sending them in and waiting HOURS - I got less than nothing. The woman was rude and said they would "become" cream tomorrow... sure when its too late to get new ones. I've been working around roses (hobby) my whole life and while they will get "lighter" they will not, not, not change colors! So this woman was very patronizing and rude and kept bullying me saying I just didn't know enough about flowers and they ARE cream... okay so I let her have it. I used to work on wall street as an investment banker before retiring and before the whole economy melted so if you've ever read "Monkey Business," you'll understand what I told her. I basically told her I wasn't going to put up with her bullying anymore and she had better fix it, but with a lot of meanie embellishments. I don't like being mean but after putting up with a lot, it was time. When she refused I went on a tirade which by my past career standards was totally tame but she obviously was not a tough cookie and she started crying and hung up on me. I called back several times and she refused to answer. Finally her manager picked up and tried AGAIN to bully me and be less than helpful. They wanted me to just put up and shut up... SO NOT HAPPENING. So finally we went back and forth and at my suggestion she FINALLY gave me a partial refund of a measly $30. Better than nothing seeing as I have to stop at every grocery store on the way looking for the right color but $400, half of which was wasted, on the wrong color of flowers and that's all you can do? Better than nothing but if I hadn't been a HUGE HUGE, make em cry b!tch I would have had NOTHING. Let's just say I'm still awaiting my hydrangeas and my expectations are low at this point.

Long story short, unless you want a headache - don't order from them and you bet your buttons a review is coming, as well as one for the better business bureau!

Brave DIY souls - arranging flowers is easy, putting up with Fiftyflowers.com is NOT!

oooooooooooooh crap.  I just ordered 12,000 "white" rose petals from them, to be delivered Fri directly to the venue......you may have to make a meanie call for me! HA HA HA HA! :)

OMG I am SO sorry that this happened to you! You do NOT need this stress right now...I'm sure everything will look beautiful and its good you stuck to your guns!

kohler - what happened?! What's your post, I'm off to read it. Seriously, we need to start a "crummy vendor" therapy group

My white ones turned out to be an ivory white, not super bright but still white. So don't worry, just do not ask for "cream" because only the man upstairs knows what you'll get!

wow. I am sooooo sorry you had to go through this right before your big day, but thank you so much for posting! It will prevent a lot of headaches (including mine) in the future! Try to put this behind you and have AN AMAZING weekend!

Sorry you had to deal with that Champ, dont let them ruin your day. But once everything is over, rip them a new A**hole... haha Your gunna have to go higher in the food chain.

OMG that sucks! Good luck ladies! Don't let this ruin anything!!! What an a-hole!!!! I can't believe places like that even stay in business!

This is horrible!!! Yes, write a review on them everywhere. I wonder if they are available on yelp too. I can't believe they claimed that green and yellow roses will turn cream overnight. WTF!?
