Do you think if Casey Anthony lived in CA or Texas the outcome would have been the same? Texas, yes. CA...I don't know.

do you think her parents will take her back? I hope NOT, but I do think her mother will.

do you think she will be able to have regular life? I think she wants her celebrity status. I hope the public shows enouh disgust that she disappears quickly. I never want to hear about her again.

do you think George and cindy will stay married? No.

LMAO I wish Dexter would find her!

Do you think if Casey Anthony lived in CA or Texas the outcome would have been the same? Honestly I do. I'm not saying I think she's innocent because I think she did it. but I am judging. I am basing that off of my own personal feelings on the case. Guilty without a reasonable doubt...there was no substantial concrete evidence that anyone could provide. Yes they proved that Casey is an unfit mother, yes they proved she was partying and they proved she didn't care. But did they prove she killed her daughter? They did a poor job convincing the jury and that is why Casey is free.

do you think her parents will take her back? I don't know how they could?

do you think she will be able to have regular life? No. She's on the playing field with OJ Simpson now. People will always remember this trial and Casey.

do you think George and cindy will stay married? I would hope so. 'Till death do us part includes this crap doesn't it?

Did anybody see the brother in court today i didn't hear or see if he was there. Not sure? I was at work mostly listening and watching when I could

doolittlebride -  While I believe she had some involvement in her child's death, it's not the state's fault that there was not enough evidence to convict her. The jury did the best they could given the lack of evidence. I'm sure non of the jurors are happy people right now but they CANNOT convict unless it's beyond a reasonable doubt and it's obvious that there was room for doubt. I am not a Casey fan by any means but would anyone want to be convicted of murder with so little evidence?  Her character is not enough to convict her.  Her partying is not enough to convict her.  Without hard proof, would you want to be put to death?

Amsa2010 -  This case has caused people to have such strong emotional reactions, but if you take away the emotion and look at the evidence there isn't enough to convict Casey. There's too much circumstantial evidence and not enough concrete evidence to prove she did it beyond a shadow of a doubt.

I absolutely agree with you both.

Casey Anthony does not have to prove she was innocent. That is not how our justice system works. The burden of proof rests on the prosecution. This case was simple. No proof the child was murdered= reasonable doubt. ALL evidence was circumstantial. Innocent until proven guilty is the foundation of the justice system. The people that are so pissed about this verdict are the same people that would have gotten booted out of jury selection because they can't separate what they BELIEVE from what was proven in court. You can have a problem with the legal system, a problem with the prosecution doing a poor job, and even a problem with her behavior. However, I can't condemn her because her irrational behavior after finding her child dead or missing does not jive with how i feel i would behave in that situation.

Is this a horrible event? Of course. Am I convinced that Casey did not murder her daughter? No. But am I convinced that she did? Absolutely not. BELIEF does not equal hard evidence and it does not equal proof. Show me one piece of hard evidence that, without a doubt, directly ties Casey Anthony to the murder of her daughter and I will change my statements..

Thank you, as, along with doolittle and amsa.

Just like Jaycee Duggar. Her father was the only one that saw her kidnapped. The state said he did it, but couldn't prove anything. He kept saying she was grabbed off the street and he chased after on a little bicycle but everyone said it was a lie and insisted he did it. Then years later, she turns up and it turns out he was correct. Can you imagine if he was found guilty because of peoples' emotions?

I do think she did it, even if accidently. But the legal system is in place for a reason.
