BABY Elise is here and I've been so busy! I'm sure you see my pics on facebook :)

My Quick birth story.........My water broke at 9pm April 10th. We got to the hospital at 10 and i was already 7/8cm my contractions were every two mins at that point. They got my epi in i have no idea what time and the dr came and. Checked me as soon as it was in and i was 9 and a half cm. We waited for the epi to wear off a little and for the baby to drop some more before i pushed. I was told she went to the bathroom in me so dh wouldnt get to cut the cord and the would exam her first. Starting pushing around 220 ish and she was born at 242. I had first and second degree tears and i didnt get to hold her for a long time after because of the tears.

Baby had some whisling to her breathing and was not eating well I couldnt get the nurses and pedi there to listen to me they sent us home. When we got home it was a real struggle to get her to eat. We ended up in the nicu for lost of weight. They did a million tests on my poor little girl. Ended up being her nose was almost closed that they didnt clean her out good from when she was born and the slightly elevated bilirubin (SP?) caused them to crust over very deep in her nasal passage and nothing I would have done could have helped it. The also told me she had a UTI and we needed to stay in the hospital for a week for meds. But now they are saying they arnt sure she ever had a uti. :( I wasted a week of her new babyness in the hospital but I am very very glad my little baby is healthy.

She is beautiful! Congrats. And sorry you had such a rough time.

Congratulations!  She's gorgeous!  I'm glad she's healthy now despite the tough beginning.

So precious! Congrats! Sorry you had to go through all that, but I am glad to hear she is healthy and you are both doing well!

I love her name too btw! Elise was high on our list if we were having a girl.

It is amazing how all the struggles we go through in pregnancy and birth don't matter once we have a healthy little baby. Hope you and LO are doing better. Congrats!!! She is a cutie.

She is absolutely beautiful! So glad that she's okay now but how scary that must have been for you at the beginning!
