Wow that was a scary story! Good to know everything was ok.

Yes I've heard of that and heard stories like you with good outcome on babycenter's birthboard. :)

Wow!! What an ordeal! I am so happy that the little one's heartbeat is strong and your progesterone levels are high. I will keep you and the babe in prayer! It looks like things are going to go well for you and I agree with your doctor to relax and try to enjoy the pregnancy for you and your little one! : )

Missbliss, I just want to let you know that you are not alone :) same thing happened to me!!! I was 6 weeks pregnant in April and ended up in the ER because I was bleeding. They did an ultrasound and saw the yolk sac and said everything was fine!!! Was a huge reliefat the time!! Until I stated light bleeding and spotting every week since then!! I am now 12 weeks and we have had several ultrasounds and heard the baby's heartbeat on Friday!! My Doctor can't really explain where the bleeding is coming from but just keeps telling me that everything is fine and 50% of women bleed! (I learned the hard way not to google because everything will tell you that you are having a M/C - we are living proof that not all bleeding is because of a M/C!!) My Doctor has been beyond wonderful and told us that once you see a heart beat your chance of having a M/C goes down to 3% :) She is also letting us come in every week for a heartbeat check to put my mind at ease until the spotting/bleeding stops. She said some stop after the first trimester but some bleed the whole time! Fingers crossed mine stops!!! So I hope all the best for you and your growing baby :)

Thanks, Alward!  It's nice to know I'm not alone :)  Fortunately, everything has gone great after that first episode.  That happened on a Friday, I bleed again the following Monday, had an ultrasound at my doctor's on Wednesday and we got to see the heartbeat again.  I never bleed after that, only spotted.  When I went back for my 9 week ultrasound, the clot in my uterine wall was gone!  I'm now 11 weeks and the spotting has stopped.  I feel so lucky that my baby is healthy.. now I'm just a little anxious for the 12 week appt.  If all is well we are finally going to announce!  I'm so happy things worked out for you too!  It is seriously one of the scariest experiences I've ever been through.  I hope the rest of your pregnancy is happy and uneventful!
