What is she looking for? Documentary style/ traditional?
i posted this here
http://www.projectwedding.com/post/list/videography-r-u-doing-it
what i found was in documentary style there's not too much editing, although there can be, and it's pretty straight forward. recording of the day, not usually background music,
although you can ask for that. also what i noticed is that sometimes it's a little "shaky." a lot of videographers offer this option as their base package or their only package. the other style is very cinematic. think like wil's video.
many of them require you to request a package from them to get specific pricing.
here's what i found:
documentary-ish:
cinematic:
blue moon productions
Lumitone starts at 2699
Burkart Video starts at 2699 for cinematic, 1199 for raw footage, one man 6hrs
Lorimerworks 3600-4500. but hecan make to fit your budget but will cut back on hours/footage as apply. wouldn't offer any less than 2500 for a quote though cuz of the quality of his work. on his
page
Hope that helps get you started. I ended up going with Lorimerworks for a negotiated package. Most will be able to work with you on this too..
