I know this is such a specific question for other Vietnamese brides but I don't know where else to post.  FI and I are Catholic, Vietnamese, and we are having a Nuptial Mass.  We weren't sure how to word our invitations in Vietnamese.  I've seen these two versions:

1. [bride & groom's parents]
tran trong bao tin Lễ Thành Hôn va Vu Quy cua con chung toi

2. [bride & groom's parents]
tran trong bao tin Lễ Thành Hôn cua con chung toi

From what I understand, Lễ Thành Hôn is for the groom, and Lễ Vu Quy is for the bride.  But is it necessary to put Lễ Vu Quy?

I put both but it's not necessary, espcially if space is the issue.

not necessary.

I think it's not necessary but for Catholics we also have to put our saint names in front of our normal names... such as Teresa Nguyen Thi Thuong etc... and also the rank in the family such as Truong Nu, Thu Nam or Ut Nu etc...
