Visible dress seams

Dear All

I got my lace dress from one of the Chinese websites and I'm really pleased with it.  However, I've noticed that the two princess seams running down the front of the dress are quite noticeable when I take photos at home.  Do I need to worry about this or will having a professional photographer mean that the seams are unlikely to be visible?

Bit worried that the dress is going to look cheap if people can see the seams!  Anyone got any experience with this?

Can you post a picture of your dress? Can you take it to a seamstres and ask if something can be done?

As a photographer there is a lot I can do with a photo. Do me a favor post your image here and I will take it into photoshop and fix it for you. This may help.

Sometimes lighting exaggerates things and Yes most of us know how to fix these sorts of things.

I focus hehe on Product photography so dress seems, shoe colors, changing and designing wine labels and then placing them on a generic bottle are my forte. Anything can be manipulated by me. Give me a white shoe and I can make it any color you want. LOL.

Here's a photo of the dress (sorry it's sideways, couldn't rotate it!)  I'm hoping that I'm just worrying too much and that on a bright sunny day when I'm holding some flowers nobody is going to notice!

I could not do much with such a small image. I am used to working with His resolution, but it is better. I also turned it for you. 

As a photographer I would watch the lighting to decrease effect and soften in post production.

Your dress looks gorgeous and it doesn't look cheap to me at all. Do the seams bother you? Some people like their wedding dress to have seams such as these Princess seam wedding dresses. They are made so the seam shows.

I agree. I am so used to seeing dresses with seems that I was suprised it was an issue, but as they say it is not my dress and it is not my day.
