No more dirt patch in the backyard! It's like a one day UPGRADE!

FI got three free pallets of sod on Friday (I swear, people are ALWAYS giving him stuff...I don't know how he does it) so we had no choice but to get the yard prepped, staked, and lay down the sod!

Which means I will have to trench through the grass to put in my sprinkler system, but I just couldn't say no to a free lawn!

That's the most amazing freebie ever!  How does your FI do that?! lol.

Last night FI talked the guys who did the landscaping for the builder of our house into putting in a sprinkler system in our backyard for....... $200 and a case of beer!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Including materials and labor. Unbelievable. So now I don't have to test my sprinkler system know-how (PHEW).

I promise I will take pics tonight.
