What should I do? I have been telling my cousin for the past few weeks that my fiance and I are planning to get hitched on Memorial weekend next year. She never said anything about it. Why all of a sudden this morniing she tells me that next May is her and her husband 15th anniversary,and they want to have a big wedding since they didnt get to do it 15 years ago.Part of me is very upset and hurt by this. She knew what I had planned to do.I hadnt put a deposit down on a venue yet but it took me and my fiance a good while to agree on this date.Im considering doing it the same weekend so that it wont be an inconvience to her and our family coming in from outter town. We cant do a double wedding, it just wont work out..... HELP ME PLEASE....

Hmm is it for sure that she will choosing that particular date? 

I think if you and your Husband decide that you are getting married on memorial weekend, then just do it. Do understand that from a guests stand point, attending two weddings over the same weekend can be exhausting.

Do not plan your day around certain individuals for the fear of inconvenience. HTH! GL!
