Jenni - the bismuth oxychloride in Bare Escentuals might give you more of an artificial glow in pictures. If you're determined to wear it, I'd recommend going to a real BE store (there's one at the Westside Pavillion on Westwood and Pico in West LA) and talking to the artists there about your wedding day look. Pick a bright rosy color for your cheeks that will stand out in pics (like Glee) but not too much since you don't want to look trampy. If you look at a lot of the bridal magazines, most of the models are wearing muted natural colors to enhance what they already have so using mineral makeup might not be such a bad idea. Just remember to keep some Mineral Veil on hand.
Kells - If I were you, I'd go to a real MAC store (not a counter at a dept store). If you look for a MAC Pro store that might even be better since they're all professional makeup artists I think. They charge $40 for your MU and you have to travel to them. You might be able to talk to a manager and see if anyone is a freelance artist and can come to y ou on your day. We went to a MAC store in Vegas for our mu for a wedding I was in 2 years ago and we all looked great. None of us normally wear MAC, but the MU did stand the test of time and 12 hours later I was really sad to wash all the "artistry" off of my face. I would caution you to verbalize what you want, take pictures and go do a trial so you don't end up looking too made up. We did a trial for the bride at the MAC store and the day of, the person wasn't there that did her trial so we had no idea what she used or how to recreate the look they had settled on. Thankfully it ended up being a blessing in disguise because the new artist did a better job on the bride than the trial artist. HTH:)
