Okay I earlier posted my Wedding Week Recap I explaining how the week before went.

Here is THE DAY recap :)

I had a schedule made of how the whole day would go in a perfect situation. I had many people say, that won't happen, things go wrong etc. Well I must have planned well or been extremely lucky because we followed that just as planned!

The girls started at 7 getting our hair done. An old school friend of mine did the bridesmaids hair and my aunt did my hair. This was fun to talk to the girls while getting our hair done. While my aunt did my hair I finished up my programs and was pleased to finish them before we went to the church at 10! A good 4 hours before I thought they would be done!

We got done with hair right around 10 and headed to church (at the planned time). The boys were also arriving at 10 and headed down to the basement to get changed for pictures at 11. They had extra time so they played the Wii while waiting for the girls. The girls were upstairs getting dressed and the flower girls were getting their hair done, also by my aunt. Here are our Getting Ready pictures :)

We had the first look at 11:15, just 15 minutes late of our planned time! I was surprised by my husbands reaction. Of course he said I was beautiful and had tears in his eyes, which caused me to tear up as well. I was so happy this day and time had finally come! Formal pictures went great with our wedding party and families, and our nephews kept us entertained! Here are our Formal Pictures and pictures of details

We were done with pictures about 2 hours before the ceremony, about 1 hour before I thought we would be. This allowed time for everyone to have lunch, and relax. My dad and husband also took naps! I layed down for a bit, but didn't get a nap in like the guys, so I played pool with my nephew.

The ceremony started at 3. I think this was my most nerve racking time. Just waiting at the end of the line (of bridesmaids, flower girls), not knowing who came or how things would go. This was show time and what if something didn't work out! :/ However, once I got up to the door and saw my husband a HUGE smile came over my face and I was extremely pleased. I was so happy to have my dad walk me down the aisle. I know for some peope this isn't as important, but to me I think it was the most important thing. I love my dad and am surely a daddy's girl. :) Everything went great! We did a unity candle, and also God's Knot which has Gold to represnt God, Purple for the groom, and white for the bride. You braid these strands together as you become 1 with God. So powerful! We did have a recieving line, and I'm glad we did because it was our only chance to say hi to everyone that came! Here are our Ceremony Pictures

After the ceremony was over, we got in the trolly, our transportation with the wedding party and went down at the lake to take wedding party pictures. This was fun and relaxing with the wind and going slow. But the pictures were HOT being in the sun and wind, but turned out wel. Here are our Lake Pictures

We got done with those and headed to the reception, we planned on being there are 5 and got there at 5:20 (not too bad!). I was so happy with my schedule! After arriving and then eating our YUMMY meal, it was time to move on to the cake cutting. I didn't know what to expect from my husband. I know he's not mean to me or anything and didn't expect him to shove it in my face, HOWEVER he is known for his humor. Well, it wasn't too bad :) Then there was still a little piece of cake left over after we fed each other, so I got the idea to pick it up and shove it in his face when he couldn't do it to me. This was FUN! Hehe

After the cake cutting we played a video I made for the reception of our pictures together and baby pictures. You can watch it here if you want to :)

Right after this we did the 'dances' to get them over with and on with the party! We started with the father-daugther dance. This was amazing for me, I loved dancing with my dad! After my husband danced with his mom. I think they had a good time. Then it came to the first dance! We danced to Kenny Chesney's Me & You. This was the thing I was most excited for! I had a balloon drop filled with balloons, you pull a string and they come falling out. I had my bridal attendant pull it about halfway through the dance. This was fun and I loved the little kids reactions.

After this the dance started! We had a great time, but I feel like it went too fast, I know I talked to a few people, danced, and had some drinks. But I don't feel like I did enough, talked to enough people, or dance enough. I want to do this over again. I had a great time, what I remember anyways. I just wish I could remember everything I did, because I only remember dancing to a few songs, being in the bar for a couple minutes. I don't remember anything else. :( But I do know I had a GREAT time! :)

Now I spent the money on DJ's that are trained and go to school for communication! These guys were awesome. See my biggest pet peeve is going to weddings and NO ONE is out on the dance floor. I was VERY PLEASED that our guests were out there and having a great time. I was very impressed with these guys! If you live in Nebraska or Iowa check into Acoustix Entertainment! They have a copyrighted dance they created some years ago, that was fun for everyone. This is called the Hat Dance. Everyone gets in a circle, and the DJ gives a person a hat, they go in the middle and dance for a bit, and then hand it off. If you complain and don't go in, you have to go in for at least 1 minute! No one complained! Haha. The first person to go in was my older brother, I never knew he had moves until I saw him in middle of the dance floor! Ha! This was a blast for everyone. The pictures of people with a hat on, are of this hat dance.

Most everyone left by 10. I feel like that is early, but I understand most people live 1-2 hours away or so and didn't want to spend the money on hotel rooms. So we started tearing down at 10:30 and left about 11:30. My little brother drove us home (since we had a few drinks). On the way out of town he hit a cat. :( Now whenever I see a cat on the side of the road I think of our wedding night, lol.

We had a GREAT day :) Here are our Reception Pictures

Wow, congratulations, MRS!!!!!!!

You were a beautiful bride, and those are some beautiful pictures. You guys look so happy:) I especially love the cake cutting--that was brilliant of you to wait until it was over to go in for the smash! We go messy with our cake too. My DH was so enthusiastic that when I took my corset off that night, it was full of chocolate cake! Haha!
