They basically make knock-off dresses in China (which I do NOT support, but my budget.. well it has its own mind..) but one of the people agreed to make me a custom gown (so thats not AS bad right? ).

I have heard good and bad reviews about the place, and you pay through PayPal so that makes it a little better, at least you can dispute it. 

Has anyone else used this, or know someone that has? What do you think? Any other ideas on a cheap dress? 

I brought my gown of a internet site like Ebay ( im in new zealand) I brought a preworn Essence dress for 85.00 plus shipping. It in perfect condition.

If you happy to go the preworn route your can find some awesoem dresses on internet auction sites.

Im also using mine to a trash the dress shoot (m planning on being spray painted in it so REALLLYYY didnt want to spend too much LOL)

Ive heard really good and really bad things about them. Maybe check out the milly or dressily groups for more input

If you're fine with a dress that isn't a ballgown, I've found several on etsy for under $100.
