check Craigslist! My mom has a thing with used clothing so she wouldnt help me buy my dress there, but I found it for $100....we ended up getting it at davids for $700!! It would have been worth it!

I went through dhgate with mine and used seller fionavogue.  If you want to see pictures, look at the post that says something about knock-off dresses.

I was completely unsure about dhgate until a student of mine told me she bought her prom dress on there (it was a poofy ballgown) and with through seller aokstart.  I looked up the pic, and then I told her to see me when I chaperoned prom.  Sure enough, the dress looked as advertised.  I think it's just hit and miss since you're dealing with different sellers.

A friend of mine found a site called Light in the box. We were talking about having nice but cheap Bridesmaid dresses, and this place seems to have everything. I actually found a replica of the dress I want on that site as well.

I would agree with David's Bridal....I got my Galina gown regularly $549 for $99...i love it!!!

I bought my dress from uniquevintage.com for $82 including shipping and handling!!!

I highly suggest eBay.  Mine wasn't $99, but I found it for $260 including shipping. It was still $600 in stores.  I know Legentry got her amazing dress from eBay as well.  :)
