Wedding favors: HELP!

I was thinking of doing a candy bar, but making it into like a wedding favor. I was going to put little boxes with lables that say Mr. and Mrs. and our wedding date. They can fill them up and take them home as a favor... has anyone done this or suggest something else?? :)

I went to a wedding that did this! It was awesome to just have candy! I say go for it if it's what you wanna do!

i did the same thing..but those candy are just for kids..

I only have 3 kids at the reception, my 2 FG and 1 RB.. they're getting their own little basket of stuffs!

we are doing a candy bar and many of my bridesmaids said the same thing about just having personalized bags and having it act as a favor. Here is the deal - at least in the random world I live in... people don't care that much about a favor. It's either a nice little bonus, or something at their chair that they forget before they leave. 

The cool thing about a candy bar, is if people WANT it, they will go make themselves a bag of candy and rejoice in the sweet deliciousness. If people don't want candy, they don't want it and it is no harm no foul. Certainly better in my world than taking the time to make 160 perfect little boxes of ribbon wrapped chocolate that half the people will leave behind. I say go for it! 

I will be using this as our favor.  I think its a great idea.  Who doesnt like candy?

i have a dozen of kids and most of our visitors are diabetic..so all the candies went to kids alone..i put them on a mini pouch..

That seems a good idea especially for kids.

They will like it very much.
