Wedding party gifts

I need some advice about gifts for the wedding party. It would actually probably be pretty easy to buy for my bridesmaids, except for the fact that one of them is SUPER crafty and can make any cute or neat piece of jewelry that would make a good gift, so I don't really want to just get some jewelry...I also would like something that is unique, not just a personalized tote bag or something. Any suggestions? Thanks!

I got my girls personalized tote bags, and put the dress, shoes and flowers inside along with a small hand bag filled with lotions/tissues/lip balm/ect.  Then I also got them each an idividual gift that meant something between us or something that reminded me of them.  I'm kind of a DIY girl, but this way I could give them something that I knew they would love and didn't have to stress about DIYing anything. Personalized things are always nice.  My fiance is giving his guys engraved money clips with his nicknames for them on them, and dog tags with their favorite football teams since they are all football fans and always get together to watch the games.

I also wrote a heartfelt letter to each of my bridal party so they know how much it means to me that they are a part of my special day.  I over thought about my party gifts.  Once I got them, I feel good about them now.  I'm excited to give them to my girls.  I think it's more a little "thankyou" and sometimes the thought that goes into a letter, or a item that means something between the two of you can say more than a super creative, or expensive gift.

Good luck!

You could give her a craft day at a local pottery shop or something. That would mean so much to me. It would be personal and fun.

If most of the girls are crafty you could all do a day of crafting together as a gift.

I am a DIYer to the max so I may not be the best person to help.

On another notenI have always loved everything I was given because it is always the thought that counted.

I bought them personalized throw pillows from cafepress.com, paid for their hair and makeup at the wedding, and bought them each one thing that was personal to them. (My cousin that is super crafty and made the jewelry for the wedding got a cute hat b/c she loves to wear all different hats)

Im also giving jewelry and getting their makeup done, but Im going to give each one something that Ive heard them mention that would mean something.  Like one of my MOH is always saying how she needs to invest in a new smaller purse, so Im buying her a nice simple coach wristlet/wallet.  My other MOH has started to get into art/photo/paintings, so there is this wine-painting party business in Chicago.. Im buying her a gift certificate to go to one of their classes.

Think about getting something that they might need or might like to do.

We had a vintage inspired wedding. I went on eBay and bought each girl a vintage rhinestone bracelet. It took awhile to get them all because you have to bid, but I looked for Weiss or eisenberg bracelets that were signed. I also tried to stick to a budget for each. I made a brooch bracelet for myself to wear at the wedding.

My husband got the guys watches from kohls when they had a big sale. All the guys and gals loved there gifts!

My Matron of Honor is super crafty too and she made the girls' jewelry.  I ended up getting her a purse and matching flip-flops to go with her dress, as she loves purses and is not a shoe girl, other than flip-flops.
