Hehe- up until the wedding I was SO done with wedding planning it wasn't even funny! Now that its happened, and looking back on all of my pictures (not even the pro pics yet!!) I miss it!!

Its making me sad! In a really happy kind of way...

My wedding was perfect- and part of me wants to do it again exactly how it was!!

Another part of me wants to plan an entirely new one! It was so much fun to put it all together (until the end, when it got all stressful and stuff haha).

Bahhh!!! Its only been a couple months!!

Any of you ladies go through this??

I had been through the exact same thing the hole month after the wedding actually. And then I recieved my pro pics and it was as if the wedding was just the most perfect memory. DH & I got back to our routine, got involved in other projects and now it's fine. I still wish I could relieve my wedding day but it's not making me as "sad" as it did a month ago.

Complete opposite, I've been tired since the days leading up to the wedding and was ready for it to end, now that it's over, I'm back to myself. Not so stressed and cranky, every day, my mind escaped to wedding this and wedding that b4 the W day, now I'm relaxed and can think of other things.

But I have a friend who got married in March and she has been feeling the same way you have.

I love being married. If it were suddenly before the wedding again, I wouldn't be happy. Hahah. Leading up to the wedding I just wanted to be married already!! Now I am so happy that I am. I just miss the excitement and the countdown and the planning and creativity of it all!!

Not too much. When I pass by the wedding aisle at Michael's, I smile and think how wonderful and beautiful it was, but happy it's all done and I can focus on other big projects in our lives. Whenever I miss it, I watch the video, look and the pics on go on PW. But honestly, I don't miss the planning one bit, just the actual day.  :)

Aww, that's understandable. I really missed being creative, so I started pouring that creativity into other things...making things for our house, re-doing our bedroom, home improvement projects, and reseraching how to turn our house into a home on Pinterest and blogs. And, I won't lie, I've been checking out some adorable nurseries and thinking about how I could make our little 3rd bedroom fit for a little person. DH doesn't want to try for at least a year, but I figure we gather inspiration for our weddings at least a year in advance, why not the nursery? Lol.

I completely understand what you mean! My wedding was 9 months ago and although I didn't want to plan another wedding, I did miss doing something. I felt like I had all this extra time. I filled up my time with other small DIY projects. I also started playing the violin again and I decided to teach myself how to crochet. I think it's normal to feel the way you're feeling. After putting so much into planning it's only normal to feel some type of void.

Oh yes! It's been a year and I still miss all the planning and ideas and having a purpose lol! And I really miss the family love - my wedding weekend was the only time EVERYONE from both sides came together, and a lot of our friends  were there too. More than just wedding stuff, everyone was just hanging out at the B&B having a good time...I was totally feelin the love!
