How are all of you doing this week?? :)

Today I'm on CD19... not really sure if I have O'd or not yet :( Came down with a really bad cold last wednesday and I've been trying to recover ever since!!! Safe to say it's almost gone... but I'm only OPK'ing this cycle and I haven't gotten a positive one yet.... don't know if maybe my body isn't going to O this cycle with the stress of my cold or what... :S

I don't like to admit it... but I'm kind of giving up.... if it doesn't happen this cycle... I'm not going to count it ;) LOL... I can't believe it's taking so long to get PG (not saying 7 months is long... but it's longer than what I thought it would be)... anyone else feel this way???

Hope everyone is having a better/more positive week then I am :)

Hey ladies! I haven't been posting much because lately I've felt like since I cannot technically TTC, I didn't have much to say. But I have been lurking and stalking all of your TTC journeys.

Kristen, I cannot imagine how frustrated you must be feeling after 7 months of trying. Since I haven't been there, I cannot offer many words. But, I am keeping you in my thoughts & prayers.

We were supposed to be having DH's vasectomy reversed last month. We had to postpone due to some of the offices moving buildings at DH's work (he does IT for a University Medical school and practices, so when a building moves he has to do all of the network stuff, moving stuff, etc. It is just him and 1 other guy so they couldn't be left shorthanded). We just got the call yesterday that his appointment is now  3/27. We are so excited! The doctor said that we could start trying as early as 3 weeks post reversal, but it would likely take 3-6 months.

@kristen, i can immagine that you are discouraged. but hang in there. i'm convinced you will get your bfp soon.

@missjess, yay for your new appointment for the reversal.

@me, i'm on cd10. my temps go up and down all the time. i took opks yesterday and today. they showed a second line but they were not positive yet. i wonder how it will go on.
i can't believe we are only trying for three months... it feels like ages already :)
we are going on vacation next week. so i hope we will come home with alitzle person growing in me!

Hi!  I'll check in :-)  I had some lady troubles and decided to go off the pill 2 months before planned.  I've been off 3 weeks, and have been charting every morning with a BBT thermometer and FF.  I can tell you I have no clue what my chart means right now!

I haven't been thinking too much about AF, but I'm wondering how soon she'll come back - will I be one of the ones who gets it quickly or over a year later?

@ Kristen - I completely sympathize with what you are going through.  Everyone wants it to happen quickly.  One thing I always hear, that makes me wonder if charting will be an advantage or disadvantage, is it's usually said the more you think about TTC the less likely it is to happen.  I've heard so many girls say right after they legitimately give up it happens.  Two co-workers, for example, one gave up after a year and one gave up after 1.5 years ... and now they each have 2.5 year old boys.  Stress hormones can play a bigger role than we think.  At my last visit my family doctor told me on average her patients try for a year before success, and she said it's that dang stress we don't even realize we're putting ourselves through.  So I'll try to stay positive for you :-)

I just need to remind myself of this, because I'm so high stress I think I may actually never get pregnant.

@MissJess - Yay!! Glad to hear about the appt being scheduled!! Let us know how it goes! Will be thinking of/praying for you :)

@youandme - have FUN on your vaca!! Hoping that gives you just what you need to get that BFP!! :)

@Athena - I felt the same way when I first started charting/temping and OPKing. You will get the hang of it, trust me! :) And, that's what we're all here for anyway, to help you with that when you have questions!!

And thank you so much for your words of encouragement!! :) I try not to have a pity party.... but it's been really hard lately and I just need to relax and know that it will happen. AND even though 7 months is awhile... it's not as long as others have to wait to become pregnant. I know sometimes it takes people years <3

@kristen: I just had my yearly appt with my gynecologist Monday, and we talked over TTC. He said 85% of couples will conceive naturally within a year, and that it's totally normal for it to take longer than you expected. He said it's important not to worry before then, although I know it's really difficult. Don't give up! :)

@missjess: How exciting! I bet you can't wait to start trying for your little bean. I'll be thinking of you guys next month!

@ashle1738: I read your other thread about the problems that your lab work turned up...I'm sorry to hear about that, but hoping and praying that your doctor gets everything straightened around for you and you get your BFP quickly.

As for me, I'm on CD14, and I think I'm ovulating today! Yay! I had a positive OPK yesterday, and EWCM since Monday (which is a first for me since TTC). So no matter how tired I am after painting our living room all week and working this 12 hour shift today, it's business time again when I get home! Lol. FX for good news in 2 weeks!

Waiting is over! My FSH at CD 4 was 6.1, TSH was 2.09 & LH was 4.9. Woo hoo! I have a good ovarian reserve! My eggs are not old and moldy! LOL
