Happy belated Mother's Day to our new mommas and mommas-to-be!  I hope everyone had a great day yesterday :)

I'm 31w1d and just trucking along - still feeling great, still running (4 mile race yesterday, slow but I ran the whole thing).  I made more progress on things for Baby Y over the past week - I'm slowing putting together our registry and doing research on things like monitors.  I saw my SIL this past weekend (she lives in NC) and she and my sisters are putting everything together for my shower which I'm super grateful for. I'll be very far along (38 weeks!) at the end of June but I'm very happy everyone is going to gather to celebrate our little nugget.

I'm also more and more convinced I'm having a girl - everyone else thinks I'm having a boy but for some reason I'm leaning strongly in the other direction.

Looking forward to the updates from everyone - new mommas included!  I love hearing about how our group's babies are growing and any advice from the other side is always appreciated!

Happy Monday!

31Weeks 4 days, feeling great, minus the new chest cold I've managed to pick up. I swear if someone is sick within a 20 mile radius of me I catch it! I can't wait to have my immune system back...

I had a great week which included a dinner/baby shower with my track friends, a wonderful birthday, maternity pics and my last pre-baby race :)
I plan to keep running as long as I can but I think at almost 32 weeks it's time to call it good on the racing front.  I had a group of girlfriends sign up and run the race with me, we had a great time :)

Harper's nursery furniture has all arrived finally and her room is starting to take shape.  You have no idea how much it satisfies the TYPE A personality in me to start organizing and putting things in their place!

Hope all of you had a fantastic week and wonderful Mother's Day!

Happy Mother's Day! Sounds good ladies!

I am 30 weeks today and had a doc appointment this morning. Apparently I have gained too much weight, again. My doctor asks "what happened" like I would have an answer!! I am very upset :(  I feel like I have been eating in moderation and take walks when the weather is nicer and not raining every day like it has been. However, I have already gained 35 lbs. Everyone says they don't know where and not to worry, but it is hard when the one you should be listening to is saying it is too much weight. Sigh. Other than that things are good!

Happy Monday mummies and mummies-to-be!

Hats off to you two, rdamon and flats, for staying so active! I went for a walk today (more like a waddle) and it wore me out!

Mainebride, try not to let it get you down if you know you are eating healthy and taking gentle excercise, you're doing things right - our bodies have a mind of their own though and docs like to fit everyone into the same 'bracket' which just isn't realistic.

Well I'm 39 weeks tomorrow and still feeling relatively OK. I just uncomfortable in the evenings and sicky in the mornings!

I've been trying to walk around as much as possible to encourage baby's head to engage. Yesterday I noticed that movements have got less pronounced which is apparently a sign that the head is engaged?! We shall see.... I am still convinced this little madam will be late!

Happy belated Mother's Day to everyone!!

I am a few days shy of 40 weeks!!! Waiting (impatiently) to meet my little boy or girl but also getting nervous for the big day. It feels as though it'll never happen and I'll always be preggo but then I get a few contractions and that makes it more realistic :)

Dh spoiled me yesterday and made me a huge breakfast, then gifted me a bouquet of roses, a ceramic mug that he wrote on & baked, a hand-made card (my favorite!) and the Petunia Pickle Bottom diaper bag I've been drooling over for months!! I ended up crying, which surprised him, but I really loved how special he made me feel, even since baby isn't here yet. I can't wait to make him feel just as special for Father's Day!

Nancy~Don't let your doctor get you down. Everyone gains a different amount and if you're eating well and taking walks, you have nothing to worry about. Honestly, I would be super offended if anyone asked "what happened?" to me. Your doctor should be easing your mind, not making you feel worse.

Veronika~I'm convince you're having a girl too, lol! Can't wait to see if we're right!! :)

Becca~I love your friend's shirt! Sooo cute and very true :)

Nadine~I hope you're right about less movement because my LO barely moves now! Feels like s/he is sleeping all day long!

Happy Monday ladies and happy belated Mother's Day to all! I'm glad everyone seemed to have a great last week and weekend and I'm looking forward to your babies coming Karen and Nadine!!!! We're all as anxious as you!

Hang in there Nancy!! You are doing all the right things so please don't worry. I'm sorry your doctor is making you feel worried. Can you talk to him or her about it and share what you've been doing and why are they expressing concern?

Becca and Veronika, you both have been so inspiring with your running! I wonder will your little ones follow in your footsteps and become runners too one day!

As for me, I'll be 36 weeks tomorrow and go for my appointment on Thursday evening. They said this appt had to be an evening one because there is a class we have to take. This is where they go over the particulars like how long we can be at the birth center after the birth, etc.

My doulas are hired!!! We get our main doula plus a student doula who is working with her for the same price!

I finally found a doctor for the baby and he will be having an open house on May 24th so we can meet with him. I'm very excited about that!

Going to try to finish up things around the house. We got the downstairs carpets and furniture cleaned on Saturday so now all the carpets and furniture in the house are clean and fresh. When we got the replacement parts for the dresser, they forgot to put 2 of the pieces in the box so I have to call them again and have them send them out. I was a little bummed about that because I wanted hubs to be able to finish it on Saturday, but we have to wait a little longer now.

Hi all glad everyone is doing well and had a good week.

I am 37 weeks and 4 days and doing OK after thinking I would have a prem baby I now am being induced 2 weeks today unless he comes naturally - please FX for us, I am trying acupressure and accupuncture to get my uterus ready so I am keeping positive. I have been having contractions that last hours but don't get stronger, just my body teasing me!!!

I am very tired not sleeping well as wake up with a dead leg and to turn over need to sit up to change position but at least I am getting used to less sleep. The cottage is nearly all tidy and and some cleaning still to do I will post pics of the nursery soon, just a few sewing projects to complete. We have just fitted the car seat, it took us both he he!!!!

Had my repeat urine dip last week and no sugar detected so it was my Easter egg munchies that took me over last time!!!! I also had my hospital eye appt and the heamorrages my optician found are all but healed so that was a relief.

Have a great week all H x

Hi ladies!

Sounds like everyone is doing well, and Nancy I completely agree with the other girls about your weight gain.  I wouldn't worry about it too much.  If it makes you feel any better, you do not look like you've gained 35 lbs AT ALL!

I am 32w1d today and still trucking along :) Not much news to report on the baby front this week.  My sister has been planning my baby shower and she's going to be doing a mustache theme for it, which is going to be super cute and fun!

I've been sick with a cold too Becca, and it stinks.  So my weekend was a bit low key except for an engagement party for one of my cousins, which was a Luau BBQ that we all got dressed up for.  So that was fun.

I can't wait to hear about your LO's arrivals Karen & Nadine!  I am impatiently waiting over here, lol!

Hope everyone has a good week!

Just stopping by to say hi to my favorite group of ladies. As I sit here I am watching my son suck on his pacifier and then rip it out of his own mouth and then cry about it. Then I put it back in his mouth so that he is satisfied and then he literally rips it out again. His little hands have a mind of their own. lol

Mother's Day was great. I spent it with my family. EVERYONE spent time holding Cash and "ooohing" and "ahhhing" over him. DH bought me beautiful flowers and is going to take me on a post baby shopping spree. Right now I am inbetween maternity and my regular clothes. I have 15 pounds to lose so I plan on just getting some roomy dresses and stuff. I don't want to buy pants in a size bigger.

Can't wait to see who has their baby next. Some of you are so close. And some of you are still freakn' running! How do you do it?! AMAZEBALLS!

Hope everyone has a great week! xoxo

Happy Monday!

I'm 31 weeks, 5 days and feeling great, apart from a cold (seems to be a common thing!) I caught mine from two co-workers who refused to stay home last week -NOT impressed. At least they can take something for it! Grrr. I'm just pumping myself fully of vitamin C and water and resting as much as I can and hoping that it goes away by Saturday -my baby shower! I'm SO excited -I have my outfit and makeup picked out but still unsure about what to do with my hair. DH assembled baby's change table a couple of weeks ago and we have all of her major furniture/items so I'm happy about that. I've been feeling a bit weak lately and the heat doesn't help. I've been keeping a bottle of water with me at all times since that's the only thing that seems to help (and sitting).

It's starting to get a little harder to sit on the floor with the kids at work and when I do, I can really feel Megan's feet in my ribs -I try shifting around -when the kids noticed I explained that baby's doing a headstand in my belly lol. I'm so tired at the end of the work day and am really looking forward to going down to part-time (next week) when I'm working 3 days and off for 2 -then off permanently on June 9th -can't wait!

I guess that's all from me for this week -hope everyone has a lovely week :)
