Good morning everyone!  How's your week looking?

I'm 32w1d and just amazed at how quickly this trimester is going.  I did get a lot done last week - I put together our registry and we painted the baby's room yesterday. It's a very simple off-white color (Swiss Coffee) but I think we'll give it pops of orange and green.  I looked at our registry this morning to add something and realized two items have already been purchased - I only made it public a few days ago! 

This week on Wednesday DH and I have the second part of our hospital class - Infant CPR.  Then on Thursday I have an appointment with my doctor - Hopefully I'll have our pediatrician chosen by then.  At my last appointment my doctor asked me how much I weighed when I was born, which I couldn't answer...turns out I was 9 lbs. 4 oz!  That's a little scary...but DH was 7 lbs. 3 oz. so I'm hoping our baby is more like him! 

Hope everyone is feeling well and that we see the arrival of a few babies this week...Karen, Nadine, Katrina and Krista - thinking of you and hope to hear about your little ones soon!  Also as always I'm looking forward to the new momma updates and photos!

Good morning!! Yep, I'm 40weeks 4days...and still prego :/ I really thought last night would be the night, but here I am...feeling absolutely nothing! I have an appointment w/ my midwife tomorrow and we're going to talk about possibly stripping my membranes. I'm nervous but at this point, I'll do it. This baby is only getting bigger and I don't want to give birth to a small adult, lol.

I'll keep you all posted as to how it goes and hopefully you'll all meet Baby V very soon!

oooh Karen - I was hoping to hear Baby V was here! Hope it will be soon for you!

Veronika - Your nursery sounds great - can't wait to see pics! Fx LO is closer to DH's birth weight!

As for me, I am 31 weeks and have begun to feel some pressure. I read that means she is head down which I really hope she is so I don't have to entertain the breech options. We decided on our pediatrician and are still getting some final decorations for the nursery. 

I think everyone is waiting for Karen's LO. He/she is definitely trying to make a memorable arrival into the world. ;)

Enjoy the rest of your pregnancy ladies because once it over it feels like it was forever ago. Although I don't miss pregnancy, they are right when they say you forget all the hard parts otherwise you wouldn't want to get pregnant again in a lot of cases. But I already find myself thinking, "now that wasn't soo bad" when I know at times I was completley miserable. LOL

In other news....Cash turned one month yesterady. It is amazing how he is growing in front of my eyes. Lately he has been making lots of eye contact when I feed him. And he is just now noticing the little animals that hang over his bouncer and infant car seat. Still love him as much as ever. He is the best decision DH and I could have made.

That flew by, Candice! I can't believe he is 1 month! Such a cutie!

As for me I'm 32wk 4days and have nothing really to report.  I'm FINALLY starting to get over my chest cold.  I will say that all this coughing + a little one dancing on my bladder = this momma truly understanding the importance of Kegl exercises!!!

Hi all hope everyone is Ok

I am 38weeks 4 days and getting bigger and have now put on 12 lb. We had a growth scan last Thursday due to placenta, we had a different Dr as ours on holiday and the 1st thing she said 'wow what a big baby' just what I needed to hear, he was 8lb 8oz then so I hope he doesn't get much better by next Monday when I am due to be induced.

As for me TMI alert I have had loose bowels for 2 days and eating causes so much discomfort when moving through me, just not enough room!!!

The cottage is nearly ready, we have set the swinging crib up in our bedroom, emptied the washing basket, all ironing done and cleaning ongoing. The weather is to be good this week so I look forward to some sunshine.

I have another session of accupuncture on Thursday and hope I start naturally and don't have to be induced as it frightens me a bit!! H x

Hi All

I haven't posted here in a while because lately things have been a bit boring. I am 31 weeks 1 day today and have 7 weeks and 4 day to go. I'm getting anxious I'm so ready for our LO to be here and out of my belly. I have still been feeling pretty awful. when hes low I'm in lots of pain and feel like he's foot is just going to pop out at any min. when he's high I can't breath and he kicks up my acid reflux.. I swear he's like 10lbs around although our US last week said 3. We finally decided on some big items this week so I'm really happy about that Finally feel like we are getting things done. We got our diaper bag I decided on the PPB abundance boxy backpack. THe same as the regular just 4" wider. I can't wait to see it. We also got our stroller we went with another bumbleride!! Really excited to get that as well. We also brought up all the bay boxes this weekend and started getting things out, washed, and put away. Kip (our 20 mth old is now acting really strange. He's super clingy and only wants daddy really hoping its not the baby coming doing it)

Karen I can't believe your still pregnant tell that little bean its time to come out and play!!!! (I'm sure you have many many times) Good luck I hope its soon

Hi everyone!

I'm 32weeks 5days -I had my shower on Saturday; it was pretty small, about 10 people in all, but it was still really nice -and somehow, baby Megan still wound up with lots of presents! Not many pictures unfortunately -my mom misplaced her camera at the beginning :( I'm feeling pretty good -bump has finally rounded and people are starting to take notice. I'm starting to work part-time this week -which means (because today is a holiday in Canada) I'm only working tomorrow and Wednesday :) then I have two more 3 day work weeks and I'm DONE!

I'm so looking forward to it but at the same time I know I'm going to miss the kids a ton -I've been working there for almost 3 years, more than anyone there. Megan has also found my ribs in the last few weeks and can simultaneously push into them and push onto my bladder! I can't believe I only have just over 7 weeks (or less!) left!! I'm excited but not sure if I'm fully ready -I feel like there's still so much I need to get/read up on!

Candace - Cash is sooo cute and I can't believe he's a month already!

As for me, I'm in my 39th week (I'll be 40 weeks this Thursday) and I feel like Karen that I'll be pregant forever. My doctor's appointment last Friday didn't go so well so I had lots of tests done and had to do a 24 hours urine collection starting this past Sunday morning to Monday morning (a great way to spend my birthday :/). I had to go in yesterday for another follow-up appointment and I'm still not progressing and stuck at what I was two weeks ago. I think it's because she has a big head (been told by three ultrasound techs) and it won't drop anymore to start things. I asked if there's any relief for me this week as this last month hasn't been a good month for me with this pregancy and I received some good news (at least for me). I'm going to the hospital today to start the gel and if the gel doesn't work I'll be induced tomorrow morning. I'm hoping the gel starts things up but it's great to know she'll be here hopefully by Thursday. Since receving the news, I have been running around like crazy trying to get things in order and make sure I don't forget anything. Best of luck to everyone else due this week and can't wait to meet my baby girl!!!
