What's going on ladies!  What are you planning on for this extra long week/weekend (Labor Day here in the US)?

Hi girls!

I've been away a bit, but school starts tomorrow (at least for us teachers), so I'll be back in front of a computer on a daily basis again.

This weekend we're heading down the shore from Friday to Monday! We used to have a shorehouse with friends, but this summer that ended. Instead, DH and I are heading down to the same shore town as always but by ourselves. We also have tickets to Louis C.K. on Saturday night in nearby AC :) I'm so excited to relax -- I've been taking grad classes and working over the summer, and when I return I'll have students on Tuesday.

In other news, we just found our perfect house! We've been hunting for.ever. and we're thrilled to have gotten this place! Settlement is October 15 - the day before my birthday :) This trip down the shore is probably going to be our last expense for a little while.

I would love to write more, but DH is listening to Gilbert Gottfried in the background, and that man's horrible voice is so incredibly distracting. Ugh.

Hi ladies!!!

I'm back at work since Monday after our 2-week holiday. We had such an amazing time! Our first holiday with our little Fabrice and it was not as relaxing as it used to be when we were just the two of us (LOL), but we had a blast! Fabrice was so sweet the whole two weeks. First week we stayed in the south of Switzerland, at a friends apartment (without them though, it was a wedding gift to us, 1 week in their holiday apartment), with amazing views of the lake. I will post pics later, I'm at work. The weather was amazing, we did a lot of sightseeing and also went to the beach and it was LOs first dip in the lake. He didn't like it so much though ;-). After that week we drove to Italy to the Piemont region, where we stayed another 3 days. It is a great region for food and wine. But unfortunately it was wayyyyy too hot and we couldn't do much... We were glad to have a pool at the hotel :-)

Back at home we did some stuff around the house and DH made me a shoe-shelf in our store room! Yayyy!!! So glad that we finally got that! Before that, all our shoes would just be anywhere around, or in the boxes here and there. I love getting organised at home and having everything in its place.

Fabrice has grown so much, he's turning one in 3 weeks and I can't believe how fast this past year went by.

Hey ladies!

I have sure missed you all! I have not been able to come back on PW much since my honeymoon a couple weeks ago. I got slammed with the biggest project of my career the day I got back, and now that lovely week in paradise is a distant memory!

I'm hoping to catch up more this weekend and next week.
