I hope you all are having a great week so far!

I plan to spend most of the week doing laundry and deep cleaning our house...blah. 

I'm also hoping to finally get the chance to play around with my new Silhouette machine I recieved for Christmas!

My week is spent back at work.  Todd and I just got home from a week in the Dominican.  

That is more than enough for this week.

@Jess: What's a silhouette machine? Never heard about this...

@Tammy: Did you have a great time in Dominican? How was the weather over there?

This week is CRAZY for me. University is starting back, adding 3 jobs, an internship & my thesis, I better get productive right now!!!

Yesterday we went to the vet for Zac follow up and his leg is healing very well :) The vet told us he has never seen a dog walking this fine on his leg only 2 weeks after the op. So we're very happy. Yay for Zac the healthy dog! It cost us an arm & a leg but at least it seems to be working!!

@Pascale, you seem SUPER busy!! I'm tired just reading everything you have going on ;)

The Silhouette is really similar to the Cricut (if you know what that is). It lets you do all kinds of crafty things! It cuts paper, vinyl, fabric, it has little sketch pens you can draw with (that is all I have done so far, I made place cards for NYE)

@Jess -So glad you got what you wanted for Christmas :) you'll have to post pics of what you create with it!

@Tammy -Welcome back! So jealous of your Dominican vacation! You must be glad to be back in Canada ;) I'm in Nova Scotia and it's cold but I hear it's frigid in Ontario (my parents are in Northern Ontario and everything is cancelled.)

@Pascale -So glad that Zac's leg is healing quickly -that must be such a relief!

As for me, DH brought Bella to the vet last weekend hoping that we'd be able to board her there when we go to England in February and she did GREAT! She's much different with Ross than with me -he had put her in a flexible mesh muzzle :( just in case she snarled and was aggressive but did so well that he took it off. We also found out she weighs 90 lbs.! Holy! She's a lab, but still! The vet said she was a bit overweight but that the extra fat was useful for him for her needles ;) So anyway, the vet was fantastic apparently and said it wouldn't be a problem for her to board there so we're beyond relieved. So we booked our flights for mid-February to England to visit DH's family and they can meet Megan for the very first time! She'll be 7 months then so its about time! So excited, but nervous since it'll be Megan's first time on a plane -I'll just prepare for the worst and hope for the best :)

@Jess: Hihi...I was totally out of track with the silhouette machine...I though it was a sort of video game (like the wii or the kinex) or some sort of elliptic! But I totally see what it is now and it looks FANTASTIC! Any project ideas already?

@Steph: I'm glad you found a place to board Bella. You'll have such a great time visiting your In-laws. And I'm sure Megan will fly amazingly like a big girl!

Good morning! This week has been a little trying.  I was not feeling 100% for a few days and it took most of my energy to keep my head up off my pillow.  I am feeling a little bit better today, so I'm hoping it was just my allergies/sinuses.  Today, I'm playing catchup on everything.  LOL

Jess - I hope that you were able to rest a little bit and try out your Silhouette during all of your cleaning!  : )

Tammy - Yay, so glad you found us!  I hope your week spent in the Dominican was awesome and we can't wait to see pics!

Pascal - I'm so happy to hear about Zac!!! Your week sounds like it was absolutely crazy!!!

Steph - That is great news that you will be able to board Bella.  I'm sure that has taken a lot of stress off of your shoulders.  Even better news that you booked your flight and I'm sure that Megan will do just fine.  Can't wait to hear all about how she did and how your trip was.  It's getting closer!  : )
