Good morning ladies!  I was away most of the day yesterday finishing up our living room project and spending some quiet time for my Mom's birthday, but here is the thread for updates (I have a bunch of updates - I'll be back in a little bit to post).  : )

Hi Becca! Glad to see you on the boards! Hope all went well with the finishing up of your renos! Can't wait to see the pics :-)

My week is pretty calm so far. But that's ok cause the weekend was packed!

On Saturday I went to the 10-year-bacherlor-class reunion and it was so much fun! It was cool to see everyone and it didn't feel like 10 years had passed.

For this week I don't have any special plans. Work is still pretty calm. Tonight I'll cook a pumpkin soup - love it!

Hmm, this week is nothing really special for us. Going to a friends house tonight for a game night. Meeting another friend tomorrow night to catch up. Thursday and Friday hopefully nothing-maybe packing since we're moving in less than two weeks! Just a lot of things coming up with friends it seems like!

We bought DH's grandma's car last weekend (2010) Ford Fusion. I love it! It will mainly be my car, but of course DH's too! And I'm still waiting on my pro pics! I know it's only been five weeks but it seems like everybody else is getting theirs so quickly~ lol. I just have to be more patient!

Olivia, glad to hear your reunion was awesome!

Hey swissgirl! That is awesome you had a good time! Did you take any pictures of your reunion? Pumpkin soup! I have never had any. Is it good? How do you make it? Is it sweet? Okay enough of grilling you. Lol.

Hiya Elise! Glad to hear you are loving your new toy and I know how it feels to want the pros! You only have one more week to go!

So far, my week is quiet - GREAT! I have been able to get some crocheting in, which is my passion, and I have a couple of orders I need to get started on. I think DH is a little frustrated with our furbabies. They are so darn smart and I laugh at all of their shenanigans. He keeps trying to build them a contraption to keep them in instead of getting a big play pen trying to save money and they keep finding new ways to get out! I just laugh because I think they are ingenious! Tonight is our date night and I am cooking smothered pork chops for him, scalloped potatoes and green bean casserole. I am also baking him a cake per his request!

Olivia, I just had my 10 year undergrad reunion a couple months ago! Isn't it so great to revisit those years? I was overwhelmed with nostalgia.

This week is my last one before the insanity begins! On Monday we make settlement, and then my parents are taking off from work to paint for us all week (so sweet!) Every day after work DH and I will be joining them in an attempt to get ready for a 10/27 move-in date! Yay!

My latest grad class just kicked up the intensity, which is rotten timing, but at least I love the program. This week I have to officially apply for degree candidacy, and I'm still torn between a couple different programs (all for the same Master's, but different concentration/goals after graduating).

That's about it on my end - next week should be a much more exciting report!

Whew! I actually made it through this week.  It has been quite the experience to say the least.  I hurt my back last Sunday and it has been extremely difficult to work and do the renos with the hubby!  However, we were able to finish everything with the exception of the trim work (budget stopped us for awhile).  We also will be replacing the 30-year old windows within the next year. 

Here is a picture of the completed project.  We do have to figure out the placement of the couches or get a sectional.  : )

Thanks so much Olivia!!!  I am making an appt with the doc - my measures have worked a little bit, but I'm still in a lot of pain.  Stinks!!!  : )
